I've experienced small leaks with my ego-t (B type) tanks. I ordered the ego c upgrade to take advantage of the replaceable coils. My experience with the ego c upgrade to-date is not good. After my 2nd fill, I placed my ego-c on the desk. When I returned in 10 minutes, there was a puddle of e-juice under my ego-c. Leaks continue to be a major issue with ego tanks.

Had my eGo-C leak only once in a while but I still gave them up for an eGo Vision V3 Clearomizer which I've had over six weeks now and no leaks at all. I like the full tank view of the clearomizers.

Just ordered a Kanger T3 bottom coil clearomizer which is getting rave reviews so far. Mine is due in today but hasn't arrived yet.

I have been using them for over a year, and they leak occasionally.

If it leaks try replacing the little cap on the end--the one that has the little hole in it. Theses caps cost loss than $1 if you order 5.

Also, I wouldn't "twist them a full turn" since this may make the hole too big. I wouldn't twist them at all. Just push them down real tight.

People have written about puching out the little hole on a new tank using a small punch. Never tried this. Sorry, I don't have reference. You might try searching ECF, using google preferably.

Also, I fill mine with a syringe so I never have to take the little cap off. This elininates another possible source of leaks if you don't put the cap back on properly.

I final hint is to not use 100% PG juice, which is very thin. At least 20% VG might be better for leaking.

Despite all this, I still prefer the easy draw of these tanks over any other, and like the flat shape of the B tank.

I have the C-B type tank and the guy at the shop said to use high-VG juice only as PG is too thin to stay where it's supposed to.
In regards to leaks, I've had a few that appeared to be my own fault
First time I had a "major" leak(no puddles, just a lot of juice on the contacts) was after my first foray into cleaning it. Dismantled, wiped clean and reassembled. No leak after that
Usually if I have had a leak, it's because something hadn't seated properly. Be it the atty assembly in the tank itself or the cap not sitting right on the atty tip
I still get a bit of juice on the contacts once in a while, but nothing major and it wouldn't surprise me if it was just condensation on the inside of the tank working its way out

At first I was impressed with the Vision Stardust (Clearomizer) but then I experienced small tank cracks with the clearomizers. Just about every unit developed small cracks at the bottom end where the plastic tank is pressed onto the threaded metal band. The cracks were not large enough to leak juice but large enough to see air bubbles form during each draw. These air leaks had a major impact on vapor production. Clearomizers have a great potential provided they undergo a major redesign. And no ... I don't vape fruit blends which are reported to contribute to tank cracking.

I've had a problem with cartotanks leaking before that I was able to fix with a tip from MrMayhem: Get a cottonball or tissue or something and take the tank and turn it upside down so that the punch holes are exposed and not in juice. This is the key. From there, cover the atty head up top with your wadding and give some hard blows into the drip tip from below. You'll expel a bunch of juice and likely recreate the little air bubble inside the carto that's necessary for the liquid to be atomized.

Every single cartridge and/or atomizer has hemmoraged fluid. Filling up the mouthpiece, leaking straight through into the battery, etc... I really have tried everything every trick. I thought it was me, but apparently I'm not the only one. I've bought new everything, from cartridges, new cone atties, rubber cartridge caps, the turn to seat it properly. To no avail.
I give up. I'm going to have to assume its just a crappy product, and just keep the battery and move on.

That's exactly what I did. I've used plastic and silicone caps (prepunched), both authentic Joyetech and clones, and they all leak. All of them!

So I switched to clearomizers and never looked back. Leaks were reduced 95%.

I only use the ego cartridges I still have sitting around for trying out new juices or mixes now.

I have had my ego clearomizer leak a bit ontop of the battery. I slowly spin the tank as I'm filling it up along with warming the juice up in my hand for a monent before I start to fill.
As for the leak I took the whole thing apart, cleaned it but I took rubbing alcohol and cleaned both o-rings and the grooves their in making sure all the oily residue was gone, put it back together and no leaks since.
I think the o-ring seals are easily broken by having them in a pocket or falling over on the coffee table. I made a couple of quick ecig stands out of composite decking inwhich is a bit heavier than regular wood. They don't fall over as much and I've not had any leaking since.

Those are cool. I use my old cig ashtrays to hold my eGos. Glad I don't have to throw them out - I spent a long time collecting them.

I'd started off with the eGo-C tank and for the first month I had occasional leaks, some piddly, some horrendous
After about a month or so the leaking stopped
Dunno if the hardware "settled" or if it was due to how I was handling the device(usually stored it with the mouthpiece pointing down)

Doesn't surprise me that some are having trouble and others aren't. Unless there's some insanely stringent quality control, there's going to be microscopic variances that can mean the difference between leaking and not leaking

There's no way I was gonna hold onto my old ashtrays as I'd gotten into the habit of using a medium sized jar with water in it
