Hi, sorry to start a new thread, but I have looked through the forum and on Youtube and can't find the answer to my specific question.

I have the Ego-T original set-up that comes with a Type A atomizer cone with a spike inside and I add the e-liquid to the tank/mouthpiece.

I'd like to try dripping simply to try out new juices, but don't want to just experiment and ruin my equipment. So I'd like to know:

Do I drip liquid directly onto the A cone? If so, do I then put an empty tank on it to use as the mouthpiece?

Here's a photo of exactly what I have, the atty, the spike tip and the tank/mouthpiece.

Thanks!

TxAnt,

The photo is a bit confusing. It does look like the two outside atomizers are eGo-T's but the center one is an eGo-c atty body and atty head. That head is built in to the eGo-T and can't be separated out (unless Joye has a new configuration with which I'm unfamiliar - possible). Anyway it doesn't matter :D I don't really drip with the eGo-T or C but I have 'tail piped' (vaping with the open end without any tank ) both the eGo-t and c, when they've gotten a bit flooded AND it is some really good vaping too. You can drip into the atty body and although in regular vaping with the tank the ejuice goes into the spike then to the coil - you'll see that there are two slots on each side of the spike and normally those are 'air channels' but they Do lead to the coil as well of course, so you can drip into them - it would be hard to hit the spike without a syringe ;)

You won't harm anything doing it that way - well.... IF you have an ejuice with a lot of particulates - usually really dark, then you could get some build up - you'd get that build up through the tank as well but likely not as fast. But if you get harder draws and not good vaporization then throw the atty in some 151 vodka for about 20-30 minutes (don't leave it overnight unless you think it's near death)

There are drip tips that will fit both the A type cone and the B type cylinder tops but if you're just 'trying dripping', I'd just tail pipe it. If you like then go for the eGo drip tips - type A if you have coned attys.
