Ego t type B atomizer HELP

I had one atomizer go bad so I ordered a pack of 3 replacements.

While the replacements specifically said Ego-T Type B, none in the 3 pack have the spiked plate in them. How do I move the spike plate from one of my old ones to a new.....without screwing anything up which may be too late on one of the atomizers?

It has been awile since I did this exact thing, so I am not sure if they made it harder to do or not, I got a pair of long needle nose pliers and place each end just a bit through each side of the "needle base" there should be, what appears to be, slots when you look down the atty. After that I gentally twist until it breaks free. when placing it in the "new" atty I position it and evenly apply pressure.
