Hello everyone
I need some help please with a Ego T (type B)

Here are the issues.

1. Type B attys only last about 2 weeks if lucky before the wick tastes burnt
2. Pg juice leaks at the battery connector. currently using vg 18

I am reading about cleaning etc and i soak it in boiling water
have even pulled the spike out to clean the wick but to be honest it seems a mare!!!

Now i am looking at cartomisers as they are cheaper but i don't know which ones will work duel coil etc.
Or a place to get them. Clearomisers any good? will they fit mine ?
i have the xxl battery's which are great for all day no complaints.

Could you recommend some decent cartomisers i can use and fill ?
Can you just top them up via a drip tip or do you need to pull them apart and take the bung out to fill them back up ?

The type B hold 1.8 mm juice and again is fab but the attys cost 8.50 each and i really should be getting longer out of them.

I have been smoke free for 3 weeks after smoking 20 a day for 27 yrs.
I really want to to make this work!

thanks everyone.

Any of the 510 stuff will work on your EGO , there are EGO specific dual coils at MadVape's site . Any of the LR or SR carto's will work , although the LR will sap your battery sooner than the SR . I'd personally stay away from the clearomizers for awhile , it takes a bit of tinkering to get those to work right . But even a 510 SR atty will work , and give lots of flavor and vapor .
Good luck and Welcome to ECF .

Hi Jonouk, and welcome to ECF! Glad to see you're off the analogs! I started with the Ego-Ts and ran about a month on the tanks before switching to cartos. In the first month, I was boiling the atomizer assemblies each week to get the gunk out. I didn't have the leakage problem, but my wife did with hers. We're still on the Ego batteries, but have switched to cartos.

From a carto standpoint, I've tried quite a few. My first cartos were the Boge 3.0 (regular resistance). I moved to the low resistance (2.0 and 1.7 ohm) cartos, and still use them exclusively. I'll keep some of the 3 ohm cartos for certain flavors, as the low resistance seems to give me a singe taste (fruit, dessert flavors, etc.). I currently run the Boge 2.0 and the Clear Vaping Ressurrectors (1.7 ohm, with a larger juice capacity).

With cartos, experiment around. I've tried the dual coils, including the Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer (from MadVapes). This sucker is huge (holds nearly 5ml). I've also tried the Sapphire tank/carto (from GotVapes). Good experience from all the cartos I've tried so far. Your mileage may vary - it is dependent upon your particular tastes and preference.

For me, coming off the tank to the regular resistance cartos was easy, and I saw no diminishment in satisfaction. Once I tried the low resistance cartos, my taste grew for the warmer and stronger throat hit, and I use those exclusively, with the exception of the 3ohm cartos for certain flavors.

I'm sure there will be plenty of responses to follow. The gang here at ECF is awesome - sometimes there's almost too much information to digest. I've listed the vendors next to the various cartos I've tried. The vendors are registered here at ECF, and I give them my business as often as I can.

As you venture out, be prepared to spend a little $$$ on accessories and juice. I call it a discovery or breaking-in period, where you try to find out what works best for you. After you settle in on your all-day vape and find a nice fit with your cartos/tanks/accessories, the spending should level off a bit.

Glad to see you here. Again, welcome to the ECF, and enjoy the journey from analogs!
