Hi, this is exactly what i am looking for and in my case is reallyyyy urgent (very serious problem). I have tried to find what exactly is the wick material of an ego atomizer. I believe that the wick consists of 2 materials. The silicone and the nickel chrome wire. I am not 100% sure so please anyone who knows verify or correct me.
My questions are:
1. Are the materials mentioned above correct?
2. what kind of silicone is that exactly? Can you suggest a few websites selling it?

The ni-chrome wire is the atomizer coil and I think you mean silica and not silicone ;-) Silica rope is commonly used in high-temperature seals (furnace doors, etc). There are a few e-cig vendors that carry both and you can also order both products in larger quantity from places like mcmaster-carr. The only e-cig vendor I can think of offhand that has them is Nhaler, they have replacment wicks and coils for their re-buildable atomizer mod: ATo-Miser Xtra Wicks and Wires Probably a little more expensive than just buying the base materials, but if you're in a pinch and need it quick this is a good option, though somebody else will probably chime in with another vendor that does have just the base materials for sale. Another quick and dirty option is to buy a pack of clearomizers and gut them for the parts

A, A
I'm not all that familiar with the B style, as I use the A's, but this is what I did when I messed up my wick. With the piercing spike removed, I took a piece of cotton from a cotton ball (about the size of my pinky nail), and put it down at the bottom of the atty right on the coil. I drip a 3 or four drops of liquid down on it. It's pretty absorbent, and if the piece is big enough for the circumference of the atty, it wont leak. I figure 3 drops or so is enough liquid for vaping like I smoked one cigarette. Then just drop a couple more down to make sure it's kept wet. Vaping doesn't get tight at all, and I taste the liquid. Never a burnt taste.

I know there's lots of people talking cotton down, but I don't believe I'm inhaling cotton fibers. As far as I can tell, it's just the liquid that's vaporizing.
