Has anyone else found that the new control heads for the eGo-T upgrades have an issue with nippled batteries?

Seems the positive button on the control head on the 2 new ones I have are longer.

I have also found that some of the usb chargers that work with the old version won't work with the new version.

Not sure on the Kanger, I don't use them, although with other clearomizers it depends on the base thickness as the new control head is now a well like the VAMO.

Changing the spring might work for some.. the one I have I was able to compress the spring into the cap a bit more and now I can use the nippled batteries, but it didn't work on the wife's. I'll see what else I can try!

I got a defective unit. I picked up an eGo-t 'upgrade' on Tuesday and then tonight, I set it down and went into another room, about 10 minutes later I came back and noticed a faint hissing sound, it was the eGo, it was firing, and had been firing the entire time. When I grabbed it to unscrew the atty it burnt my hand (not very bad). A few more minutes and I would have been putting out a fire, or at least scrubbing battery acid off my walls.
