So I had bought 2 tank attys from different suppliers. After about 2 to 3 weeks, neither is doing very good. The one still gives me great vapor production, but no taste of the juice. The other gives very little vapor production, still tastes great, but really eats up the liquid. Do you think they are both just dead, or am i getting anything out of them?

My first tank atty died today. I bought it on 1/13 and it was my main atty used everyday. I only used Purecig menthol 50/50 and had no leaking or problems at all. I think for $13 it was a good investment. My Lr tanks are comming today :). I would try cleaning them there are many methods if you look around

yeah with all the mixed results of the cleanings I did try heating distilled water to almost boiling and flushed my atty just in case it was just clogged but there is no sound or heating from it. It's dead. I only blow mine out every couple of days. I wish a vender would come up with a safe safe cleaning solution or something like a sonic cleaner for our atty's. Whoever come out with that first will defin reap the benifits. I realize they want us to keep puchasing atties but a good cleaning between flavors or if they get gunked up. No one expects them to last forever. Just sayin

I just blow mine out every day, bpblow from the battery end, then I put 10 drops into the hole on the battery end, and blow that out. I repeat till it blows out the same color as I'm putting in. I then prime it one more time. The color of the schtuff I blow out is almost black! Yuck! Then when you put the new tank in, give it a couple of drags without pushing the button, that's all I do, and I get tons of VAPE! I had read on here that they really don't like to be cleaned, so that's why I just blow them out. I'm going through 6-10 carts a day for going on two weeks. Now flavor is a whole nother thing altogether! These (tank systems) things don't have the flavor a normal 510 atty does, sometimes I'll take my 510Mega and fill it with the same juice in my tank and VAPE them side by side to compare the flavor, and hands down the regular atty wins every time. Hope this helps with the one you haven't cleaned yet. You should get it working better if you just blow it clean, good luck.

I clean them with rubbing alcohol, and then let dry for like 2 days ( which is why I have separate atomizers for use while one is being cleaned )

If I need to speed the drying up, a pot holder glove and a hairdryer on high heat works wonders. But even doing that I would let them dry for a full day ( usually 2 days )

The other thing I occasionally do is make sure the wick is tamped down just a touch ( with a paperclip )

but I only had to do that once.

Great vapor, great taste
