Hello, I'm using self made tank and tank, I'm enjoying it very easy to fill the cartridge. But many people here complain that the ego tank tastes like burnt plastic or bad taste. At first I also feel like plastic and burned, but the first drops of juice dripping on the atty and then when I feel like it's getting a little dry, I have a blown instead of vaporize and taste is good. I also had difficulty sticking to the cartridge is not stuck in the groove, it was very hard, having to use a nail and tip of fine scissors.
Anyone else had problems like this?
Thanks:p

Hi everybody. Sorry for my bad English staff, but my cig is the ego T, when I use the T atty for the first time or after I have to sanitize it, before I have to dripping juice and blow in the cartridge , when I feel some taste like a burned plastic I blow the cartridge instead of suck. But I'm really enjoying my ego T, some other people say they can not use as the ego T because the taste always like burned plastic. One of the cartridges and I extend the hole to drain the juice, but then it started leaking a lot. I have a joye ego Tank and tornado tank TW. Is it normal?

rerere55, thank you for the tip to blow...it's really helping me! I'm thinking you just accidentaly made the hole too big. Someone put a small strip of duct tape over the hold and re-pierced it. It's on the eGo threads somewhere, but it worked for them. I did have one tank that I had to pierce, I also had one tank that wouldn't fit into the atty and I had to file down the plastic. My husband has leak issues all the time, but I do not, and we can't figure out why. I checked the wicks to be sure they weren't too far down, but that wasn't it, either. He is not pulling overly hard, taking long, slow pulls. ?

Just switched to the ego-t tank system and I have to agree, I do get a little bit of a plastic taste. Flavor is very diminshed but vapor is huge. Strange thing is after I ran two or three refills through it the flavor started to come through more....then I made the mistake of cleaning my atty...now I'm back to plastic...UGGGHH. When I want flavor I just drip. The tanks are convenient for on the go so I don't drip and drive!!!

Hello everybody!!
I'm soo happy! I received my attys egoT LR and wow soo good! A lot of steam! No burnt taste! No like plastic! I loved it!
So I remeber the attys egoT regular that I have forgot, then I try to use a lot of them and burned like I did not have the cartridge seated right, but hit it still tastes burnt. So I washed my Atty in the hot water tap, then blew the excess water and dried with the heat of ego battery 3 times and used the taste and burned gone wow, I'm comparing drip method and is almost the same taste and how much steam!
If anyone has this problem, try this.

I would highly advise that you watch this video that explains how to adjust the wick. This is a common problem for why you are experiencing a burnt taste with your atty because there isn't enough e-liquid that goes down to the coil.

Another reason would be that your atty is a bit dirty now and there's dried juice that's gunked up on your coil. Here's a video on how to clean your atty or cartridge from how you call it:

What I do that is different is letting it sit in some water with a denture tab for an hour or so. Then rinse it out with water and follow the instructions in the video.

Hope that helps
