I personally prefer the Type B with a regular cartridge (non-tank). No leaks, better wicking, and great hit + vapor. I'm not super jazzed by the EMDCC, but then I kind of hate cartomizers generally. They're great on the first fill but progressively worse thereafter. Of course, I use 100% VG so that might be part of the problem. Type Bs are very consistent and last quite awhile unless you try to dry-burn or clean them excessively. The real benefit, imho, is a throat hit unmatched by anything I've tried so far. But they do flood easily, so tank systems can be a problem...

Although ive had quite a negative experience with their cust service or lack there of.... The pumpcarts from gotvapes are awesome for dripping/atomizer fans. I also dont like cartomizers.... p\Prob because, I try to stick to 100% VG whenever possible. So in my experience, atomizers work better for this. I clean my atomizers very frequently too. I cant stand when they get gummed up with VG.

Whichever you buy, you can use the other's stuff as long as you buy Joye brand. (if you don't then you may need a short 510 extender to fit some Joyetech attachments onto your battery)

The benefit of the Joye Ego-T batteries is the 5-click enable/disable for safer pocketing

Other than that, you can buy either, then put tank atty + tanks (either size), normal Ego attys, 510 attys, 306 attys, 510 cartomizers of all kinds on either. And other model attys with an adapter.
