Wasn't sure where to ask, here or on VAMO page...

I read about the threading issues and using adapters to prevent ruining soft threads. It seems all the solutions I read about are 510. I see the EGO thread as a wider circumference if I have it. Logic tells this noob it may be more stable to do a EGO to EGO adapter for stability of any stresses a pocket or something can cause.

Other issue is leaking into the battery tip. A sealed EGO to EGO would make messes easier to clean, I think. (not going to run a mod or EGO Twist under the faucet, but an adapter.... that would be easy)

I find it strange if I just thought of this and nobody else did. Does this seem like a good idea or has my ignorance got the better of me? Surely there must be a reason I can't find what I think is a great idea.

I'm tired of using the canned air I use for my computers to blow out juice. Since I am a noob, I switch out tanks all the time to get a feel what will help me quit smoking..... looking for the right fit, per say

I've used adapters only when necessary for function. It seems counter-intuitive to use one to "save" threads (it adds length so greater force is applied to threads when the top is pushed to the side). Also most of the cartomizers/clearomizers I use just cover the ego thread, they don't actually use it, so an ego to ego adapter would just put more pressure on the 510 threads. This is just my opinion as I have no experience with doing this. Have a good day.
