The extra inch or so in length is well worth it in terms of vaping time between charges. If you want to look at large, check out a Provari or a Lavatube. I used 1000mah eGo batteries for a couple of years. They always seemed just right. After using the 1000mah, 650's seemed like shorties.

Personally I would go with the 1000 cause I hate charging and would rather have more battery than I need than go dead at the wrong time. That being said when you start getting into the vv side of things you will find the battery life goes down as compared to another battery that's not vv I.e. another EGO. These are just my opinions but the 18650 in my provari does it and I know ego's do it as well.....happy vaping

Sent from my truck using 3 toasters a broken microwave and 6 rubber bands McGyver style......Chuck Norris aint got crap on me

I just looked to my left and there was the twist 1000 mah with my fingers curled around it and my thumb on the switch, seems so natural. Now my lava tube sits in my palm. I think I have adapted to both. Neither one leaves the house. I use 650 mah regular batts and a VMOD XL for the road.

I think it just depends what's more important to you, vape time or size & form? I have 2 1000mah, one in black one in stainless. They are very long, and especially with carto tanks on them they're a bit top heavy and will tip over constantly if you don't have a mod holder or something like that, but it's a small adjustment and personally, i greatly prefer the longer vape time. Either way they're both solid devices!

The 1000 Twist is 4.75 inches long. The battery life is determined by the voltage you are using. Light flavors like Watermelon @ 3.5 volts gives me over 12 hours on a charge. I like that. I usually use a lanyard if I am outside or driving.

The extra inch in length over the 650 gives 50% more battery life.

If you have doubts, perhaps a 650 and a 1000 are the best fit for you.

You can't beat them, especially for the price.

Oddly I think it's about your hands - in my big meaty paws the 1000mAh is too awkward feeling. If I had thinner hands that wrapped around the Ego body a bit more like a human holding a pencil instead of a Sasquatch holding a pencil - I might like the 1000mAh better. -Magnus
I hear ya, Magnus! As I watched a bunch of YouTube videos on a variety of PVs and APVs I noted that most of them looked fairly large and many looked huge. I ordered a couple of the "big" ones only to discover upon their arrival that they were relatively tiny. I have concluded that all vaporizer reviewers must be between 3-4 feet tall and have hands the size of five or six year old children.

Like someone else said.....depends on what you want or where you're going. I usually carry about 10 batteries in my "man purse" now. 2 650's, 4 900's 2 1100's and a couple of 18500's for the lavatube. I carry both the lavatube and an ego style on a lanyard. I don't usually like changing up clearomizers or atty's so have a few set-ups for quick tokes of different things.

You'll figure out you're own preference soon enough. I like Camel as my go to vape, but hit up a concoction of bacco/cherry/apple/blackberry from time to time. I've also found Red Bull lately that I like along with Pepsi. Depends on your likes and dislikes.

I like a lot of stuff and keep em handy in pre-filled CE4/5/6 style "clearomizers". I keep the atty's handy for quick, taste tests and the tanks for my long term favorites.

One more piece of advice if you don't carry multiple batteries.......if your device is USB chargeable....(which almost all are).....look at EBAY and search for battery tank. I carry 2 battery tanks, one by Kensington and another 5000 mAh generic (designed for iPhones). IF YOUR BATTERY DIES OUT.....you can use the tank to charge them multiple times and NEVER be without a vape.......

I must say that you’re prepared for just about every contingency!

I think it’s so much easier for women because they can tote all their stuff including a juice lab in their bottomless purse

Hi Dydst welcome to ECF,
I think if size is a concern at all for u go with the 650 Twist. IMO the 1000 Twist seems a little to big to carry around. I take my 650 Twist out every day and it last me. It won't last all day (7am-12pm) but it will last me the time Im away from the house. I always have 2 EGO batteries with me anyway so it doesn't bother me to have less mah power. hope this helps.

Personally, I think the 1000mAh Twist is a bit too long…before a friend got one, I was considering buying the and originally got the 650mAh because it was a few $ cheaper. My hands aren't tiny, and it's just a preference thing. I'd prefer a slightly fatter battery to a longer one if I could choose.

Now, I have 2 650 Twists and will keep buying them until I find something better (read: when someone comes out with something better).
