ego twist mod?

Point well taken, but don't mistake ego for knowledgeable experience. There are quite a few here who would like to save you some disappointment. While the eGo does a fair job of getting a lot of features in a small package, they are certainly easy to fry. If they keep you just happy enough, you will be back for more. :)

edit: those aren't my nuts by the way, they belong to sleazer.

Anyone mod this yet into something more dope status omega?

Had my twist hanging from the joyetech lanyard and button thing, jammed my button inside. Fixed the button but, interested in using it in a box with a replaceable 14500. It would be kind of neat to have the twists end cap for adjustment and the ego thread top on it.

A lot of the slickness of these are the OEM assembly itself. The innards aren't all that great in and of themselves. Frankensteining them into a plastic box doesn't sound all that hot from a design point of view. A bigger better tube that incorporates the components nicely, maybe.
