Imagine if you wanted to buy a Rolex watch. You find a website selling "Bolex" watches for 20% less than the Rolex. The guy tells you it's basically the same watch and made in the same factory. Would you buy it? It's the same for fake joye twists. It doesn't bother me as long as a vendor clearly states its not a real joye tech but that's not what's happening.
That's the exact same place I purchased mine! Nothing like being able to just walk into a shop to purchase vaping supplies. It's nice to see a fellow Tulsan here, bebeau!

I also love my Twists! Several of us here bought the Ego Twist Starter Kits sold by Vapors Choice, Ecigarettes & Parts. His color choices are pretty much wiped out right now, but there is still green available (650 or 1000 mah).
For $50. the kit comes with two Twist batteries, charger, case and a choice of two different types of tanks/clearos. This vendor is top notch and ships more quickly than any other vendor that I use.
P.S. - I got the white 650 mah batts and do not recommend white! For some reason, I misplace these more than any other color I have.

vapors choice is on joyetech's list of unauthorized vendors……meaning there's a good chance those batteries are fake.

No, it just means they disregard Joyetech's MSRP recommendations and sell them at the lowest prices. They aren't towing the Joyetech line and participating in their price fixing scheme.
I bought one of my Twists from them and another from Good Prophets and they are the exact same genuine Joyetech battery.
I've never seen a green twist any other place so I checked Joyetech's site. They only show black, white, silver, and pink. It really makes me suspicious that vapors choice offers a color that Joyetech doesn't even offer.
I also bought a 650 twist from v-c -- it has precisely the markings shown right on Joyetech's web site, no reason to doubt it is real product. Joyetech not liking the price it is sold for doesn't mean it is fake.
With that line of thinking, every used car company is selling fake cars
Not that I'm saying there aren't companies out there selling fakes though, I'm sure they are. This is why I stick with well known and trusted vendors for my stuff. I wouldn't buy a Rolex from a street vendor expecting it to be real, same with my e-cigs.

So did I, and Vicki at Cignot is a treat. I got my first eGo kit from her (650 mAh Pass-Thru, with genuine Joyetech attys, a couple of filled cartos, and juice of your choice), and since have gotten another Pass-Thru (1000 mAh this time) and just today I got my THIRD twist ... just loving them and I've got them rotating throughout the day with different juices to match my mood and tastes at the moment. Visit Cignot, and if you don't see exactly what you want, drop Vicki a line and she'll work something out to float your boat.
We have 2 Twist 650's running currently. At $22 a piece and even if we have to replace both of them every 6 months we're looking at $88 for an entire year. Not bad at all. We got ours through Altsmoke.
I agree, Vicky's a standup gal. I had a problem with a cone and she immediately shipped a new one, no questions asked, and didn't require that I return the old one. Fast shipping too.
I live about 3 hours from her store, but sometime when I'm in the area I'll stop by to see it. I would love to see more shops open.
I run the same 2.5 ohm carto/tank setup on it as I do on my larger VV; anywhere from 2 - 2.5 ohm is likely the "sweet" zone for it. I'm a huge fan of the Ikenvape 801 fusion cartos, up at around 4.5V, use them with a sealed 510/801 adapter. I just get a couple ml of vaping through between battery recharges, on a 650 twist, but it's good.
Yep. I don't mind paying a couple of bucks more for Vicki-type service. I want folks like her to succeed; she's got the customer's best interest at heart and turnabout is only fair play.

I love my Twists. I have a few of them because I like to switch flavors throughout the day. I bought them at Vapors Choice for $22.00 for 1000mah version.
