i just got a ego twist and have been using stardust v3's at 1.8ohm but it only tastes good at 3.2 volts, if i go higher it tastes burnt. what would be a better resitance so i can play with the voltage
I got some GREAT info on this thread.....it might help you decide which ohms will work best on various settings on your Twist. My vaping experience has been so much better these past few days after referring to this info
Good answers on daniele25's link. Also lighter flavors or ejuices that have particulates in them (usually really dark) are prone to getting washed out and burnt - the particles cling to the coil, form gunk - lose flavor and burn. You have to find the sweet spot for each ejuice/flavor. Some can be quite low, some - mainly coffees and very strong tobaccos can be quite high in wattage.
Great info so far, in short higher ohms requires higher voltage to get the same wattage. Staying in the mid 2 ohm range should give you a wide plenty of area to play with on the twist.
I get the best results from my standard resistance cartos, which are 2.7 ohm. That gives me the full range of voltage on the Twist without stressing the battery or the coil too much.
Ordered the 1000mah Twist from timeeast.net and I use 1.8ohm heads in the Vivi Nova and "Stardust" - chose this so I can still use them on my Bolt mod. 2.4ohm on the Bolt isn't nice even on a fresh 4.2 volt battery.
Hope my understanding is sound as that's how my logic worked when I bought more heads. Another member just posted he gets 2.0ohm on the 1.8ohm Vivi Nova heads so its in that sweet spot range.
a 2ohm carto or clearo works great a 4 volt on the twist just got my twist in today and have all kinds of carto's ranging from 4ohm down to 2ohm and the 2ohm at 4v is the best vape and taste i have got out of it. hope this helps you out
