Ego type E cigs

Hello im some what new to vaping but iv seen alot of videos on ion lithium batteries going in to meltdown mode and well has anybody had this happen on a ego type e cig yet ?
cause if this happens i could see it being bad lol

well on youtube iv seen Laptops and Rc car ion lithium batteries pretty much just blow up

I've never heard of an eGo battery just blowing up. It's not the same kind of battery used in RC cars. There are e-cig mods that use batteries like those, but they're the protected type Li-Ion batteries. Usually they just stop working and don't blow up.

The problem with RC models is modellers often use unprotected cells - and Li-Ion or Li-Poly CAN explode or something, if over-used or drained. But in all the rest stuff, which you can normally buy (and not DIY stuff) use a protected cells so the current consumption is cut off when it's necessary to do so.
