As i sit here with my finger on the 'Add to Cart' button I wonder if I should be getting a second eGo or upgrade to something more. Cost is a major factor for me right now. I have hit my break even point but need juice in a major way. juice first device second.

What I like about my eGo Twist:
Portable and easily hide-able even though I have the 1100
Can change volts
Long battery life (I came in from 808's)
I love my mini Vivi Novas on it

Why I'm questioning:
Flavor seems to be dropping off along with TH- yes I replaced the heads
Would more volts give me improved taste and TH
Over all performance seems to be falling

Please do not recommend the ProVari it is WAY out of the budget. I have not been verified yet (been waiting a LONG time) so I cannot access the classified section.

I think there are better things than another ego twist but it's hard to recommend without a budget.

Off the top of my head, an itaste MVP would make a nice upgrade, the new ones have ego cone threads. It was actually easier for me to conceal being that it is way shorter than an ego twist 1000mah. It's battery lasts forever and you can put LR/dual coil stuff (this should give you more taste/throat hit at 4-5 volts) on it without worrying about ruining it. Also, you don't need to purchase separate batteries or a charger and the interface is just volts up or down. It's a good deal for $65ish bucks, 2600mah lasts quite a while.

Just my immediate thought. If you gave a price range I might have a different answer.

The drop in flavor and TH is due to the device (Vivi Nova) that you put your juice in...not really the battery.

Personally, I've come to appreciate a nice strong "like a frieght train" (sorry Darkhood) hit that one can get with a better VV device. You can get a reasonably priced VV Gripper with PWM that has accurate variable voltage (with a punch), ohm checker for your atties, and will tell you your battery charge level. They are not "high end" APVs as far as their body goes..they are injection molded plastic...but their innards are stellar, and at $40 at MV, the price is very good. You'll need a 510/eGo adapter if you persist in using the Vivis. But I use an adapter on mine with my carto tank...and I don't even really "need" it. I just like the draw with it. I'd suggest a Ovale V8 also. You can get a version of that at Smoke Revolt. I don't know if the ones there have the ohm checker or not...probably not. The newer Ovale V8s do, but Discount Vapors is the only vendor I know that sells those, and they are out of stock right now. But the non-ohm-check V8s are amazing even without that feature. I have 2 of them and love them!

Anyway...if the "box" form factor doesn't appeal...I've heard good stuff about the Vamo, and it's reasonably priced.

Mostly I'd look at your juice delivery device, myself. There are other, more satisfying, ways to vaporize your juice. Personally I really like carto tanks. But others like things like the Kanger T3 or RBAs.

Thanks
I do have a Kanger T3 & a DCT tank and they suck. The Kanger leaked everywhere, gurgly (I read the fix it thread, no help) and out of my DCT tank all I get is warm vapor no taste at all and have tried 2 cartos in it thinking that might be the issue. Not sure what an RBA is

I was looking at the vamo but really don't want to have to buy new batteries and a new charger but I guess there is no way around that with a new device.

I will look at the iTaste thanks $65 is a good price range and like the idea I don't have to buy batteries for it.

I agree that what you're experiencing is probably that vivi you're using, not the battery. I've had several vv devices and sold them all. My Twists work perfectly for me, so I now have 8 of them in a variety of colors. I use DCT's exclusively, with single coil 2.0-2.2ohm cartos. I get great flavor and vapor out of them. It's taken me 15 months of trying all kinds of batteries and clearos and cartos and atty's.... to finally decide I just plain like the Twists with a single coil carto in a tank.

If you are going to upgrade but don't want to invest the money needed to get one of the top of the line models like Provari, I wouldn't waste time with a twist or kgo, etc. I would look at the VAMO. Two big plusses it has over many models in the category and price range is that it has Regulated Power (VW) and has a 4+ amp switch regulator. Here is a reveiw and a site that sells them:

From what I've seen VAMO is top of the line. Just not top of the line price.

You could be right. It definitely has top of the line features. Hopefully it will hold up well, also. But at that price point and those features, it's hard to beat. Hopefully people will understand that they have to switch it to VW mode to realize it's full potential.
