Hello all.

I've always been at least curious to know what it is like to vape on an eGo. As many probably know I am a very happy 3.7v RoughStack Mod user, and a 3.7v boxmod user - both use 510 regular res attys and dripping, and lately I've been exclusively using PTB modded Royalsmokers CE2 R4 cartomizers (2.4-2.6ohm) and have been in total vaping bliss for months. Both vape strong all day, literally, on one battery. I still have my original batteries and atomizers - and cartomizers.

I think it would be nice to try an eGo. Maybe see how it differs for me taking it out and about, how long batts last, how long hardware lasts, etc.

Can any of you please let me know what the latest model to get would be, and which attys (and resistance) I should go with for the best user experience. Also maybe suggest a good kit and reputable vendor to order from? I've seen a lot of topics saying eGo-T and so on so I know a lot has changed, even in the 3 months I've been vaping.

Thanks all!

I used eGo's for several months, then I got my Maxi RoughStack. The eGo's are now relegated to backup duty. They just don't give as good a hit as the RoughStack. Even the little 14500 batt boxmods hit better. If you're trying to get something that'll hold a bunch of juice so you don't have to refill when out 'n about consider getting a 510 extension and putting a tank on it with your RoughStack. If you're just looking for something that's a little sleeker an eGo will do it, just be prepared for a less satisfying vape if you do. That's my 2 cents.

I've got a bunch of eGo 900 mah batt's, 3 new in the wrapper. I made the mistake of ordering them as backups a couple of days before I decided to take the plunge on the RoughStack. As soon as the RoughStack got here I started using it and never put it down. I've tried the eGo's again a couple of times and they just don't cut it for me anymore. I'm keeping them around just in case though so I don't want to sell them, at least not yet. I posted another thread about the Indulgence because I'm thinking of just getting one of those as a backup rig if the consensus is that it's a decent mod. If I get another mod that I like then I'll consider parting with the eGo's.

I'll reiterate my advice on the eGo, don't bother, you're way past that if you're using a RoughStack. It's not that they're bad, they just don't perform that good if you're used to a really good hit. Spend the extra $$$ on juice, atty's or batt's. Or better yet, another mod. You'll be happier in long run.

I concur save your money.
Don't get me wrong I love my inferno and ego's...and I do still take them out and about but...well its certainly not going to be better than your 3.7 mods.

If you were going to get one I would say get the usb chargable ones so you don't have to worry about another charger (other than the mini usb cables) I think liberty flights and volcano both have them for around 20 bucks. I mean they are great for beater units that you can just take out and not worry about (I would hate to loose a roughstack on a fishing trip or at the bar for instance)
