One last thing I didn't mention...which have a catch cup or drip well...To me that is essential! :p

If you mean between the Provari and Darwin which is seems like you've narrowed it down to from your comment in post #19 then the Provari does and the Darwin doesn't.

Yowsa. That looks nuts! Thanks for sharing.

I agree -- that's why I shared. If I can afford it, I will be buying. Even the ECF mods and the forum manager are begging to be beta testers.

BTW, it may be more affordable than I thought -- they did say it's going to be priced competitively, but we'll see.

Hmmmm interesting. Is that the one with the fold down connector? Does anyone have one and do they perform well?

I was checking out the provari last night. Btw, I've got two 18650s sitting wrapped up. I was going to try to make a copper tube but I am too busy :p

Thank you!!

The Darwin is excellent. It is the only VV PV that senses the change in the resistence of the atty/carto as you vape and then automatically adjusts the power to maintain your initial setting. The ultimate in consistency. Plus, even for very heavy vapers, the batteries last 21+ hours on a charge. Hard to beat those characteristics.

Good Luck with you search.

Here's a more detailed reveiw:

Just a note! There are VV mods like the Evercool if you feel electrically inclined. I've been ramping mine up to 4.1 Volts after breaking in a new atty at 3.7V for a few weeks. I have a jack installed that acommodates a 3A wall wort and/or an auto cigarette plug. In fact I haven't charged my set of batteries for a few weeks now. I stay "plugged in" most of the time. I have been chain vaping this unit for about a year now and had no failures yet....

The lava tube looks very promising. I've read many reviews and design specs on the device, as well as seen some youtube reviews. I might pick one up...but I think 3 provaris, a darwin, and a VV splash has me content with my arsenal for the time being as far a s VV devices. The Lava tube is very reasonably priced for what it can offer the a educated and novice vapor alike.
