I have been using the v3 for over a month now and it does the job...Not had any problems with it, and it charges fast.
I like it, although it's now my 'out and about' device.

The only issue I've noticed is the bottom cap that carries the usb charging port and display can slide out when removing the adaptor, although this seems to have tightened of its own accord over time..

I have a ego vv v3 on its way from vaporbeast. Chose it over tube mods for now as it will serve the same purposes as a vamo and zmax and so on. I did not want to have to get a charger and all that right now. Im still learning. It has a resistance check as well as vv/vw. A bit of an upgrade from my spinner. I cant wait to get it. I also ordered kanthal-going to try my hand at 're-building' my kanger coils. O.ce i really move to rebuilding maybe ill get a different mod.

Heres a link to the one im getting

thats pretty cool that they came out with it... i have the v2 and i really enjoyed it, i say enjoyed because i leaped to an itaste svd... if i had the v3, i may possibly have passed on the svd... i dont plan on being a collector and dont intend to purchase more than maybe another svd and maybe this v3... to have a grand total of 4 devices, maybe another 2 panny 18650s... to give me 4... and another pt2 or 2...

so my "complete" set up would be 2 itaste svd, 1 ego v2, 1 ego v3 (both megas), 2 or 3 pt2, 1 mini pt2, 4 panny 18650s

this is my idea now... some day that may change but i am not interested in mechs, a part of me wants a nice rda, a part of me wants a rba, but not looking to spend insane amounts of money on it...

id say next on the list of buys would probably be either an rda or an rba... but assuming i could find a good glass tanked one, and relatively inexpensive and easy to build coils on... dont like rebuilding pt coils much...

So far I like my ego v3! It is longer than my 1300 mah spinner-lil thinner... Fits good in my hand however the spinner is a.perfect fit and I find my out and about preference is the spinner... I have 3 kids, a man and two part time jobs (during kids school hours) and we are one vehicle family so I am out and about all day- so I still use my lanyard A LOT. Helps prevent accidents such as losing my pv and/or a fit when I cant find it in the bottom of my purse.my point was the ego v3 fits good on the lanyard-balances pretty well, I may use it more when im out once I get used to locking the buttons so I do not accidently change my settings. Its sturdy-doesn't feel like it will come apart at the neck very easily. Battery life is good so far. I like the usb charger but... I tried putting it on the charger I use for the spinner and it did not work. Haven't checkec to see if I read that it should also charge that way or not... I worry only because the usb in the battery is exposed always. (open) I wish it at least had a silicone plug to keep it clean.

All that said, I would recommend it-got it thru vaporbeast and they have good cs.... Fast shipping- one sour note bout the company is that I had added a tank to my order and noticed shipping was lagging by an entire day. It wssn't til I contacted them that they realized the site allowed me to 'purchase' an out of stock.item. Due to that.mishap, It took 5 days, a bunch of calls and emails to get it shipped out. 6 days to get my battery... But stuff happens. Ive ordered fro them again, already-lol... And have a good list of stuff coming as a bday gift from my parents in a week or so :)

Is there a difference between the KGO and eGo?

I got mine from sweet-vapes, says "eGo-v V3 mega" on the unit and the CE marking is bigger than the one from Hoosier. Seems pretty sturdy, vapes like a champ. I'd say it's even a smoother vape than my VAMO. Running a Protank 2 V2 Mini on it. Not a daily driver, but not as absurd looking when you're out and about.

I have an Ego V V3 Mega VV /VW... it is the king of the EGO... But to compare it to a Vamo is wrong the Vamo is in another league.
As far as Ego's go you just can’t get a better device than the Ego V V3 Mega VV / VW. But the Vamo being a full sized regulated device that holds a single 18650 or a pair of 18350's put in in a much superior class. I actually paid about the same price for the Vamo as the Ego. But I got my Vamo from China and the Ego in the USA.

I want a vamo too, eventually... I had to send back ny ego v3 because it stopped working. No power, unable to charge too. Happenedlast Wednesday. New one (replacement) should ship today. I may become a out n about battery for my husband-we decided we are getting the mvp 2 (one foe each of us) after all... I knew once he held one he would want it too :)

I know it hasn't been out long but there's very little feedback on this device on the web. This is the one I'm talking about...

eGo-V V3 Passthrough 1300mAh Battery - Black/Stainless

I'm using standard EVOD 650 mah batteries at the moment and this would be a big upgrade but I can probably get a Vamo for about the same price. Has anyone got one of these or seen any reviews?

Thanks.

Actually, I HAVE the V3 mega (and the V2 lol) and I love it. A few days ago, I got the iTaste SVD, but prior to that, the V3 was my ADV device. It has great battery life, it can be charged with a standard mini USB, ohm checker, up to 15 watts, and small/light enough to throw on an ego neck lanyard and go about my day.

I would absolutely recommend the V3 mega to anyone, it has been and still is a much used addition to my mod collection! Hope this helps. Any specific questions, feel free :)

After giving my eGo V3 mega a week of vape time, I think I enjoy the vape better than what I got from my vamo. The vamo used an odd PWM type output which caused inconsistencies; the eGo V3 uses a different type output which is far more consistent.

The Vamo has a 3 amp output compared to the V3's 2.5amp output, so for the big wattage guys this may not be the mod for you. For me, it's fantastic. Size is nice; only issue I'm having is lugging around an oversized Davide tank on it since I cracked my Protank mini glass. :( Oh well, new daily driver, I enjoy it more than the vamo.

Interesting

I wonder what size Li Ion it has inside of it

I know with some standard eGo's if the stock battery goes kaput you can open it up (if you are tech savvy and mechanically inclined) and unsolder the old busted and solder in a new battery

Regular eGo's use variants of the 14XXX batteries...I believe the eGo 900 is a standard 14500 size battery, maybe these use the 16XXX series batteries...interesting!

Well, I loved mine when they worked. Am sending my second replacement back as it died too. My luck, 2 out of 3 just quit workung after a little over a weeks use. Not heavy use either as I usually am switching back and fourth between use two batteries/flavors throughout the day. :( bummed. Really wish I had got a good one-on the other hand-hubby is still using his and its going strong after a couple weeks use!!! Luck of the draw I suppose!

I have the this one and the only problem I have had with it is that the center pin is prone to being pushed down if I crank the tank on too hard, perhaps this is what is happening to yours. Just wiggle the pin a bit and it should fire right back up.

Very nice! Didn't know these existed. It should most certainly be a nice step up from a typical ego. I like the look and the shape of the iTaste VV v3 better, but that's only my personal preference. It's square, so it doesn't roll off tables and counter tops. Aside from that, if I knew of this ego if have had a hard time deciding between the two. In fact, this may have won out for the 1300 mAh over the 800 mAh.
