I have eGO batt with Vision/Stardust, and I'm wondering what would be better solution.
Vision clearomizer works great for a week, then gets hard to draw, hard to clean, and even when cleaned, it is still in most cases hard to draw. Vision/Stardust seems like a great idea, but I can't help but wonder is there a better solution for a clearomizer or a tank, that does not go bad so quickly and it can be easier to clean with better result of cleaning.
I would prefer something like Vision/Stardust concept, that can last longer than Cartridges, but I'm open for suggestion.
I have to point out that I am new in this, only 11 days smoke-free. Actually from the day I purchased my eGO Vision kit. I love it!

If you want something of the similar concept I have heard good things about the ViVi Nova and a CE3 I think it is called, as well as the Phoenix Bottom Coil. With the clearos people either love them or hate them, I'm one that really doesn't like them to the point I avoid anything that resembles one LOL That said though you can't take only my opinion of them because to be fair to the clearos I didn't do any fiddling around with them to make them work better or properly. There are videos on youtube that can help you to improve their performance.

Hey Dino congrats on your success!
If your clearos last a week that sounds pretty good. Compare the cost of a clearo with cost of your tobacco cigs & you're prolly doing fine.
I only use cartomizers so I don't know anything about clearos. Someone will be along shortly to help you.
Keep up the good work

Thanks guys.
Someone at local flee market suggested to me dual coil tank works better, but I don't remember details. It didn't look like it was clear tank, more like a bit wider metallic cylinder with a metallic mouth piece on top, and what it looked to me like eGO battery.
Anyone know what this was, and how would that work compared to Vision/Stardust?
And does it come with clear cylinder as well. Love the idea of being aware of how much is left in it for puffing.

Edit: I see some of you already answered. Vivi Nova... I'll look into it.
Thank you!!!

Yah right now I think I have the CE4 clearomizer that is similar to what you have. When it starts going bad, you can just unscrew the coil part, pitch that part, keep the other parts, clean them in super hot water, dry, and then put on a new coil, and voila! like new! :) and cheaper than buying the whole clearomizer all over again.

Now that you have pointed me in right direction, I have few of questions about Vivi Nova.

1. Vivi Nova is a dual coil. What does that really mean? More vapor, shorter battery life, faster liquid usage?
2. I use Vision/Stardust at 2.1-2.4 Ohms. What resistance should I use on Vivi Nova?
I have eGo battery, assuming it is 3.7 v.
3. How long does the replacement coil(s) last before I have to replace it, and can it be cleaned/reused?
4. Vision/Stardust selles/makers claim no leakage, but there is some. How is that with Vivi Nova?

Thank you for all your help.

I use the mega DC LR cartos as the stardust (and the like) dont last very long and didn't work very well for me. . don't like the burnt taste or having to break in or wait to use something.
With the Mega's all you do is fill and go ;) and the price is right IMO. Now there are tanks that use carto's which I'm looking into but their price is much more than the Mega's.
Just what I like using till I am able to find something better w/o spending a lot of $$$$

Hi Dino, congrats on your 11 days!!! almost 2 weeks in! woot!

the vivi is a single coil CE style that uses wicks rather than a carto coil style with filler..its not dual

stick with the 2.1-2.4 since you wont be changing your battery or voltage

ymmv.. i still have some ce4s that are over 3 months old and working fine..others from the same order died after a week.

i cant comment on leaking yet, my vivi is being delivered today.

here is a vivi at gotvapes
GotVapes VISION ViVi NOVA™ 3.5ml V2.5 REBUILDABLE TANK [gv-VIVINOVA-TANKV2.5] - $13.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

here is the rebuildable stardust

In my opinion the Vision Vivi Nova is a little too big on an ego type PV although they are very good they work best on a bigger PV. They are not dual coil.
Vision 2 called stardust by one supplier has replaceable coil heads and is very easy to clean. The Kanger T2 is similar but a little bigger and holds 2.4 ml of juice. They both work very good. The Mini Nova would also work good on an ego but more expensive.

Thank you ref....
I think you just answered all my questions.
I will be ordering rebuildable. Probably both Startdust and ViVi for testing. I was not aware they do exist :)

yeah i ended up pulling the trigger on both too.. if you look on that gv link for the stardust, one of the coil pictures talks about the heads being interchangeable with the vivi.. that really sold me.. haha

happy vapin!

Now add a Mini Vivi Nova with the other two and the heads are all interchangeable!

I have not had a Nova leak after a month of use (more than I can say for the previous Star Dusts). My next order will include the Mini and the Star Dust with changeable (interchangeable, actually) heads.

The Nova works GREAT but the mini will be a better fit (for looks) with the eGos, Twists and iTastes.

Mini ViVi Nova is a bit more expensive, but it looks nicer than bigger one, and still holds more than Stardust.
Now I'm in trouble. I'll end up spending more than I did on analogs... But it is so much better :)
I hope my wife will go along with me on shopping spree...

I used to spend $9 for 25 cigarettes and sometimes they didn't last all day!

But, Ya, I know what you mean. The original Star Dusts sometimes cost me a dollar a day. Cartos, a little less. Clearos, if I charged for my labor to keep them working, probably more.

None of this is perfect, but these are the best I have tried yet. I wouldn't recommend them if they weren't.

Relax, Enjoy!

Edit: PS: If you find something better, PM me!
