i received my order of two stardusts today from gotvapes, one of them does not work at all. im thinking that maybe its just not making connection but im really not sure, new to vaping and would like to know if anyone else has had this problem and if its simple to fix or if i should go through the process of trying to get the doa exchange from gotvapes.

Somewhere in PA on my Ultra Limited
I've been using Stardusts on my LeCig VV. It needs a 510-510 (or 510-eGo) adapter because it's a flat top. I had one Stardust seem like it was DOA, but switched adapters and it came to life.

I've been loving these things, but I always keep a loaded cart with me for if/when it hogs up from thick juice. I've been rotating 2 of them every couple days for a couple weeks and both going strong. When they're working they work great, when they don't they need to be cleaned. Bunch of vids on this too, but I take the easy route and just shake out any leftover juice (I save it for dripping) and then 1/2 fill with water put the cap on and shake (repeat till water stays clean). take cap back off and shake out excess water (kinda like shaking down an old style thermometer), blow out any water in the tube and then do a light dry burn. Let it sit (open capped) for the next 2 days till it's all dried (hence the 2 day rotation...)

It actually was DOA (in a way) i took it apart just out of curiosity, the wick was litterally split in half, and one of the ends of the coil was shoved directly into the rubber clearish white ring inside so was not making any connection, so easy to fix if i had wick since the coil is fine. got it to fire but tried a dumb idea of using some carto filler as a wick, worked great for 3 puffs which burned through the filler lol.

I'm also having problems with these my first one and every pull tastes burned. Washed it out and tried again with the same results so I tried another. The flavor was great but after a half tank the liquid started to get extremely dark and had a slight burnt taste. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. If anyone has some advice that would be great.

What battery are you using, it may be a voltage thing or possible the OHM of the cartomizer, i found that the LR ones tend to taste burnt way to often and most people who use the SR ones have not been complaining about it as much. If your using an ego you have to be sure to either tip the e cig upside down, or vape horizontally to keep the wicks in the liquid as much as possible, also people have been saying that light long drags work better than hard drags on the Stardust.
