Riva has slightly longer lasting battery
Riva = 750 mah
Ego = 650 mah

Not sure about the physical size, I only have a Riva. Works great for me.
One battery literally lasts me ALL day, from Wake up till Go to Bed.
Fairly heavy vaping, 3-4 hits every 10 minutes or so.

Those that say it only lasts 6 to 8 hours are probably using Low Resistance Atomizers.

the threading on the cone isn't compatable that is so the cones are not compatable....they are both 510 devices...different manufacturers... standard ego is 650 mAh, XL eGo is 900 mAh...riva is 750mAh... eGo is a hard plastic button with a white led, while the riva is a rubberized button with a blue led....the "band" on the eGo is silver where the riva is a goldish tone..the eGo comes in more colors...

and now there's another knock off/clone made by bauway the BW-510E (also known at some vandors as the animus... which has a slightly different body design and available in some different colors and is really pretty cool looking

I have both the Riva and the eGo and I rather like the Riva better because of the button. They are the same exact size, last me all day on one battery. The cone of the eGo DOES fit onto the Riva and I also use the eGo rapid charger with my Riva just fine also. They are both 510 units with much longer battery life and ARE compatible. I hope this helps you...oh oh OH...and...You can get a full Riva kit from vaporjunction.com right now for $49.95. Awesome deal :) I hope this helps a lil.

Oh and I love love love using my Riva and eGo with the 510 cartomizers. I'm in vapors heaven :)

Well Crap... I was leaning towards the Riva after everyone's post because of battery life, but now that I hear that there is an XL Ego, I am torn. Hadn't seen the XL out there, who is carrying them?

TW has the XL eGo calling it a super tornado...and they're 1000mAh batteries...
otherplaces have the 900mAh batteries but not in a kit so far... and janty will be getting the 900mAh eGo XL eventually...

my personal opinion...I like the eGo at janty because of the long warranty...

Thanks Bella - Vapor Station is where I was looking. I saw the price on the Riva and didn't know the difference. That is probably what I will be ordering today.

Edit...Sorry, I was looking at VaporJunction.com

Oh shoot! That's what I ment...VaporJunction.com I'm still not awake lol.
