I just got my ego VV today as an upgrade over my k808d, and so far it's awesome i like the whole deal with being able to change my volts and it creates good warm vapes. I never really understood how much of a difference there could be and now I am hooked. I could only imaging what the LL tube or Provari would be like. Would there be that much of a difference?

And also wanted to say that I am offically 4 days with out touching a real smoke there is no looking back now baby!

Hey river rat :) I haven't seen you before so welcome to the forum :)

I've been one to vape happily away at just boring old 3.7 my entire vaping history so unfortunately I can't say how much better the provari or the LT would be. But it won't be long before someone with lots of vaping experience with those mods will come by and give you their opinions.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi because I haven't seen you yet :)

There is a substantial difference between the eGo VV and the LT, just a few things at the top of my head:
- User replaceable battery
- Longer battery life (18650 1600mAh battery vs. the 900mAh eGo battery)
- Wider voltage range 3.3V-6V and anything in between (3.4-3.5-3.7 etc)
- LCD screen
- Dedicated buttons
- Regulated volated (i.e. even as your battery begins to drain the voltage will remain constant vs the eGo which will not output the full voltage as the battery drains - even if you set it at 4.2 it might only be putting out 3.5)

For the price you can't go wrong with the Lavatube, it's surprisingly well built, performs like a champ and it's an painless way of learning to appreciate VV devices.

No it's not, do a little research on here on how to mod it just a bit. Basically you are looking for step by step instructions on how to carefully lift up the rubber part that sits over your coils. Don't try and attempt it until you see it on you tube etc.

Devil Fish, that's for the great detailed response. So your saying in the long run we'll get much more life out of a lavatube?
