Ego w/ LR Atty - Where is the Flavor?

So I went ahead and upgraded to an ego (Actually the egomania from nhaler), and I am loving the vapor production now. It is definitely awesome. However, it tastes weird. I don't taste any menthol in the Nuport juice I ordered in the prefilled carts, or even when I drip menthol juice that I previously used on the 4081. It's not the "burnt" taste, at least I don't think so. I blew it out and the initial burnt taste is gone. But I don't taste any mint or menthol at all. Am I doing something wrong?

Maybe I just need a lot stronger menthol? Otherwise this thing is all kinds of awesome. But direct dripping the same juice in here and vaping it and then taking a hit off the 4082, there is a noticeable difference in the menthol. Am I crazy?

Try switching to a regular 510 atty. The LR510 attys burn a lot hotter and can affect the flavor of the juice. I use both types of attys and switch between them depending on the particular juice I'm using.

just try a mega atty for the ego (both standard and LR) and your flavour will get back...
Personally i think 510's are the worst in regard of flavour.

Personally I get MORE flavor with an LR atty, but I have no experience with menthol juice. To not "taste any mint or menthol at all." I almost have to think you're either not past the primer or break in stage or just not dripping and keeping it wet enough. Good luck! boB

Exactly correct. Some flavors are best regular and some with LR. Same with 3.7 -vs- 5v. If you memory is shot like mine is you might want to keep notes on what tastes best with which equipment.
