eGO XL 900mah vs. 016 1300mah

GP wants to know what you are waiting for.

We are deciding between two great items and are torn.

First is the Joye eGo XL 900mah batts.
You get a selection of colors such as Red, Blue, Titianium, White, Green and Pink!
Everything is the same...reg eGo batt cover fits, charger works
(takes about 1/2hour or so longer to charge)
You just get 250mah more bang for your buck!

Second is the H016 1300mah batts.
You only have the selection between Matte Black or White.
510 atoms screw right in, but no batt cover.
Charger for the eGo works and takes about 3~4 hours to charge.
This would be equivilent to double of the reg eGo 650mah batt.

I am currently testing the H016 batt, and so far so good!
Just have to see if it holds up to the eGo as far as reliability.

Color/Looks vs. Batt mah life.
hmm...

Prices would be about the same betweeen the two and around the $22-$25 range.

Does anyone know what the voltage output for these two devices are?

They are both rated at 3.7v

I have tested them both around 3.4-3.6
Their circuitry lowers the voltage for optimum batt life.

due to the cone setup on the 16 I'd definitely go for the eGo myself.

What kind of time frame you looking at on getting these in once you decide?

I will be getting the eGo XL in about 10 days.
I may be getting the 016, but if so, the supplies would be limited and not definate.

016 gets thumbs up from me. I work a 12 hour shift, and being able to bring 1 battery, a couple cartos, and no charger and not worry about it running out is awesome.

The eGo XL batts will be for sure, but the 016 is still up in the air.
It looks like the 016 may be gaining some ground since it is new.

i think that is the only reason its getting popular... is because its new... i like the idea of the cone... but not the cone+atty in 1 piece...

I love the 016, also own a tornado, 016 gets my vote and I think the atomizer on it rocks!.. once it blows you can always remove it from the cone and put the cone on.. Personally I never use the cone on my tornado but always use the cone atty with the 016... CLOUDS of vapor

well ive never tried the 016... and i already have all the ego stuff... so i guess you could say that im too cheap to buy a new kit... lol...

No it wont.

The 016 has its atomizer and cone in one unit.

The 016 can be used with a normal 510 atom, but without a cone.
Looks like the eGo without a cone, but bigger.

Thanks Dirt, you are on the ball with your answers. I really like these coned things for some reason and I have Tornados and Rivas (Egos never in stock) so when you get the xls I will get those. Micki
