I AM NEW HERE AND WAS HOPEING to get some help

I just orderd a ego xl battery with charger and was hopeing i could use my regular 51o atty or am i going to have to buy a new mega atty for ego.

also if i will have to get new attys does any retailer sell ego xl kits

Greenhouseone is based on china and they charge $15 for shipping. It took 8 days for the package to arrive. They have cheap prices and Tim, the owner is really a nice guy.

If you've already ordered the XL batteries and charger, you can use your regular 510 atty's, though at some point, you may want to try an upgraded one.

I should add that I use a 900 mah battery with a 510 atty. I don't seem to get any better vapor production, though I do get longer battery life. If you want better vapor production as well, you might get that with an upgraded atty (LR?). Since I have not tried one yet, I cannot say that for sure.

For me the main advantage of the ego is the mega cart and atty which hold 2-2.5 ml which is 40-50 drops and last a good long time. If you use blue foam in the cart it wicks very well (search for blue foam). Be sure and get the atty/cart with 2.5 ml capacity as there is another ego "mega' that holds less. Mike&carol Electronic Cigarette Accessories ship priority usps for under $7, have great prices and ship really fast. Their product line is a little limited though.

to be truly honest ive been at this for two-three weeks started with blu then 510 now 1 ego xl battery hopefully i will stop buying after this one. i have gone a little overboard but looking around here it seems to be the consensis. thanks for the tips on where to get a xl kit i might just get the reg ego. i really dont need the long battery life now but in a few months i have to come up with a plan for when i start the snowboard season.
thanks avid about the fitting on the xl will save $$ i love 510 atty/ new Genuine Joye cartomizers . 510 plenty vapor for me.

Yes, if you spend any long periods of time in one place, then you will want passthru's. Saves using batteries all the time. I suggest the passthru from MadVapes with the longer cord(5ft) and the wall charger(2a). I use the passthru and battery setup all the time, different juice in each one. Allso gives the atty's a little time to cool off when switching between the two (or more) setups.
