I have an eGo-T passthrough that just flat quit last night after about two months of use, 95% of the time as a passthrough continually hooked up to the computer. So, I went to one of the FOUR other back up mega eGo-T batteries that I bought through 2 different companies and not a single one of them held their charge through the first two or three puffs. I had charged them all, so I thought, and their lights came on when pressed but when the atomizer was screwed in the light would flash and no steam. I changed atomizers, thinking maybe that was the problem, but nope. So, I stuck one of them on the charger, waited over night and that battery didn't work this morning. Same thing. The white light came on when pressed but when the atomizer was screwed on the light would flash several times and it produces no steam. I have had a second battery on the charger all day today and it still isn't working.
I bought two of the eGo-T mega batteries as part of a starter kit and have been using the charger that came with it to charge all of the eGo-T mega batteries so I think it is the correct charger. The little green light does come on both when it is connected via its usb connection to the computer or to the wall connector that came with it.
This is truly aggravating. I have been vaping for 3 years however, this January gave up analog cigarettes completely in a promise to both my husband and grandkids. Today has been HELL as I scrounge around the house looking for all my old ecigs and try to piece together previous ones used. I am using an old passthrough right now that doesn't have half the strength of the eGo, its switch is missing so I have to press the end of a pair of tweezers in it to flip the manual switch. As I write this I am chuckling, but about 10 minutes ago I really wanted to fling something across the room and everyone is walking on eggshells anywhere near me.
My questions: 1) Shouldn't the eGo-T passthrough last longer than 2.5 months? Should I ask for a replacement from the place where I got it? 2) Could it be the charger that isn't working for the eGo batteries? All FOUR of them not working? Bought from 2 different companies? Should I tell the place where I bought the eGo-T kit that neither the batteries or the charger works and I would like them replaced? Then, after getting a new charger try it on the other two batteries and then if the they don't work contact that place and ask for a replacement for them?
At $12/apiece for these batteries I am NOT willing to just shrug this off.
If you think I may be doing something wrong with the batteries, PLEASE, inform me. I am soooo frustrated at this point. I vaguely remember something about their being a safety feature on these mega batteries where if you tap the button five times you kill the battery so it doesn't accidentally come on in your pocket? Could I have accidentally hit it and now the batteries won't charge? HEEEEELLLLLPPPP!
