egoXL vs DSE901 Owners Only: ? re vapor amount

I have the eGoXL (battery/atomizer) and the automatic DSE901. Don't know if this is a "mind thing" that I'm hung up on. When I vape with the gigantic eGo, the vapor is just so-so (I modified the eGo atty for dripping), taste is better but vapor amount is the same.

When I pick up the 901 automatic, very first vape produces a ton of vapor at least 50% more than my eGoXL & 501. What I've noticed with the 901 even though I get lots of vapor, taste is just so-so and TH is almost non-existent. Am I getting hung up on wanting to see a lot of vapor? Does a lot of vapor equal "more nic hit"? Thanks much

A lot of vapor does not necessarily mean more nic hit. I vape 0 nic and have a lot of vapor. I like my 901 for some flavors and my Ego for others. I don't know if you're using the same juice on both your Ego and your 901 or not. If vapor is important to you (and it is for me), order a slightly higher VG. My experience has been that my Riva 901 makes less vapor than my Riva 510, but that could just be a matter of perception.
