I've just switched from Eroll to Egrip and my first experience was similar to yours. Since my rba egrip (imo best choice with egrip) is still not here, i ve used the original atomiser. First, the original atomiser lost its flavor and i kept getting burnt taste time to time. Then i tried the Aspire BVC atomiser trick but that coil have a different top casing so it dont have silicone seal and its side wicking material is too thin, causing lots of juice going in and i ended up gurgling/juice in the air hole.
In the end i ve decided to disassemble both and check what can be done and i ve found out that its possible to merge both to make a better atomiser for egrip.
I will make a tutorial post later probably, but for now i can explain what i did;
1. Disassemble CS and Aspire BVC atomiser gently,
2. The parts we will use to build the atomiser are;
* top cap of CS coil
* wicking material around CS coil
* coil and cotton from BVC coil
* bottom part of CS coil
* bottom silicone and pin from CS coil
So in short, we are removing the coil and cotton from BVC and installing it into CS. This way we end up with an atomiser that give nice flavor and looks like it lasts longer too, i am using it for 1 week now and still no burnt taste as long as i am not going above 14 watt (assuming that its around 14, since dial dont have numbers). The reason for this should be the wicking material around the coil, BVC one is too thin and CS one is too thick to give enough flow. The vertical coil from BVC is way better than original CS coil design but probably still the best option for egrip is the rba atomiser.
