So what's in the banana that damages the plastic? I would never have thunk of banana as a tank cracker.

Yep, same here. Never would have thought banana could do that... It does smell like fingernail polish though...hmm.. The seller is cool enough to send a replacement even though it was my fault. Must have been news to him as well.. You know what, besides the tank cracking, it destroyed and deformed all my o-rings because even after I put it back together with the SS tank I could not get it to stop leaking out the air hole. Thats not really a problem other than the fact that I DON"T HAVE anymore o-rings for this one:mad:
Does anyone know the specs for the o-rings on this EHPRO? I love this device, and if it wasn't for the fact that it put my AGA+2 into retirement, which I never thought would happen, it seems that I will need a steady supply of o-rings for this thing. I'm using my Rocket V1 right now which is what prompted me to get on the Kayfun bandwagon in the first place. I have a V2 being delivered probably tomorrow or Friday from FT. The V1 I have just works awesome! No issues at all, even gave me less problems than my EHPRO. But the build quality on the V1 is no where even close to the EH.

Agree with the fingernail polish analogy. I just got rid of some banana flavoring due to that smell....I thought it was bad....lol. Ooops
I picked up an O-ring assortment from Harbor Freight simply because they are very close to my home. I can't confirm the sizes are right on so won't even try, but there have been some posts that do give the size and also another material that should be impervious to about anything. You can always go to an auto supply and root through the bins to try and match one up but I know it is a pain.

Makes sense, Buzz..... definitely should make sure what you use is safe. I thought that was implied, but I also know what happens when one assumes....lol. I would imagine some of the tank cracking juice could just as well melt O-rings and let dangerous chemicals into your juice. Dang, vaping just got dangerous again... lol

I have to chime in on this....

BE CAREFUL of what o-rings you use....
make sure they are food grade. as the chems in normal orings can leech into the juice....

as for the leaking, check the oring that seals the chimney to the top cap. that is most likely your culprit.

Yep, that is definitely the baddy!

Geez, I'm feeling sorta dumb right about now.... just filled my tank with Bananas Foster from FlavorWest @ 10%. I can't believe I've been reading along this thread and didn't even think to take out the clear ring in my KFL+. Well, guess I'll see how long it takes for it to disintegrate. Ah.... I can call this an experiment in the name of vaping..... mean time before tank failure....:p

Where is the best place to buy replacement clear sections -- without waiting months to receive them? I have an EHPro KFL+, but don't think it matters too much since everything seems interchangeable.

One of my favorite flavors, blue balls by steam factory, almost immediately leaches.. I get that plastic, burnt taste after half a day of using it... noticeable fogging shortly after.. only two flavors I have I've noticed that crack my mtanks, blue balls and suicide bunny derailed, both banana flavors.
