Hey guys, I've had an ehpro Kayfun Lite + Clone for about a month now and I'm loving it! Up until this point, I've been using the clear tank that it came with. But I just tried a Banana flavor in it which turned out to be a tank-cracker. Now I'm going to be switching to the stainless steel tank that came with it.

My question is: Do you guys have any tips for filling the stainless steel tank? My problem is that I can't see how much liquid is in it while I'm filling it (unless I just fill it from the top). Also, how would I tell when it's running out of juice; aside from the obvious burning of cotton?

Thanks in advance guys!

I'd be interested to know these techniques too as this is why I switched back to plastic tanks and ordered extras :)

There's definitely skill involved with top filling, I got about 50/50 flooding and no flooding before I purchased a setup to use the fill port on a 3.1 as my kfl+ rarely sees action due to less airflow.

A luer lock syringe with blunt tip needle for both filling and to gauge juice level.
With the syringe, using the plastic tank section so you can see, fill the tank with a non-tank cracker juice - determine the juice level in the syringe, and mark the syringe tube.

When you think the juice level is getting low, add some juice with syringe, then withdraw the plunger to pull juice out... the tip of the needle is always in the same place when fully inserted into the KFL, so it will set the juice level in the tank. If you need to, shorten the needle (or buy a longer one) to set the correct juice level.

Cold Norway
1 - Bring a screwdriver
2 - Find a flat surface
3 - Take a seat
4 - Prepare some TP
5 - Keep some teflon tape ready just in case

On a more serious note... with a little practice you can gauge your way to the required amount of air with a syringe. Or you can use one of those long plastic tipped bottles. Fill it to the brim, suck out whatever the needle nose is able to suck out. That should leave you with a decent sized air bubble.
