Yes, I ordered from China, but glad I did. Its a nice atty.

I've yet to experience that problem. Maybe try switching out the offending screw with a spare?I've found that after a few days one of the post screws works itself loose; the resistance stats to go wacky then it's unusable until I can get it apart to tighten up.

need some advise
what can i do to avoid this?

this wick has 1 day and half, maybe less
look at the gunk it has, i have to rewick almost every day
little help please
edit 1. i use dragon scape juice 0.6mg on istick 20 @ 14 watts (1.2 ohms)
edit 2. i dont have same problem on subtank same juice same resistence
i know the juce is so dark and sweet but ...
Mine is staying very clean between rewicks.
I use mine every day, and exclusively while at work during the work week. I don't think I've wicked it in more then a week and it still tastes great.
I actually think it's pretty strange, because I don't get that kind of life span out of a wick in anything else using the same liquid.
Is that Dragonscape juice the one made by P.O.E.T.? If so, that juice really isn't as dark as one would think based on how your coil/wick looks. You mentioned 1.2ohms @ 14W but what gauge is your wire? At that resistance and wattage, a 28 gauge coil for example is already giving you a really warm vape (with a heat flux at around 207), and any thinner gauge wire would be scorching hot, so it's highly possible you're burning your juice. If you haven't built a new coil, replace your wick (dry-burn your coil first before you re-wick) and try turning down your wattage to 13W or less.
Nah, turns out it was builder's error. One coil leg wasn't all the way in and the screw wasn't making full contract inside the hole. Re-shaped the coil, re-mounted and no problems.I've yet to experience that problem. Maybe try switching out the offending screw with a spare?

i think you are right, i am burning my juice
when i was a smoker... i smoked 3-4 cigarettes in a row, one after the other ( 40 per day)
what does it mean now? i am heavy chain vaper, i do not let coil to cool down between draws
so i need larger diameter, more ohms and less watts right?
i will try 3mm diameter coil, 1.6-1.8 ohms kanthal 28 @ 10 watts
just regular wicking like before
thanks for advise
edit ... 3-4 cigarrtes in a row, one after one with a coke glass ...40 cigarretes per day for 24 year
god loves me because i am still alive
edit 2. my girlfried smokes the same way![]()
How do you like the Smowell? I've read that people believe it has a Smok M50 board in it.You previously mentioned iStick...is that the original 20W version? If so, that device is over-powered and for example 14W is probably around 15W or higher depending on the ohms of your coil. That might've contributed to your burning the wick.
If you chain vape, better airflow would help avoid burnt wicks. I've tried numerous different airflow settings, and currently I've completely removed both airflow screws on my Mini Buddha.
Yes a larger diameter coil might help avoid drying the wick and burning it (especially while chain vaping). I often build 3mm, and right now my coil is 28g Kanthal with 6 wraps (technically 6.5 wraps) @ 1.3ohms and I vape this setup at around 11W up to 15W depending on the juice. A perfect vape on a perfect coil isn't about how high or how low the ohms of your coil is...it is really about watts, surface area (the amount of coil and wick), and airflow. A lower ohm coil at a lower voltage versus a higher ohm coil at a higher voltage can yield the same results/watts.
On a slightly different note, I recently bought a new 50W mod for my Mini Buddha. I'll never need all of that power but it's small, stealthy, and a nice addition to my collection...and you know we can never have too many, right?! Variety is the spice.
