Ejuice changed color

Ive been vaping on coffee which is a brown color on the vivi nova. After a while it turns black. Whats going on?

Totally normal, you will find it gets thicker as you vape down to the last 1/4 of the tank as well. From what I've read around here, it is the cooked juice near the coil seeping back into your tanks via the wicks.

Its normal for e-juice to get darker over some time, older threads mentioned that it might be due to the oxidation of either the nicotine or sweetener.. you may search the older threads for more information

Juice tends to get cooked or caramelized in the vivi due to the heat. I just tend to see it as a time to clean and change the head when juice becomes dark and thick.

ahhh I see. Thanx. When the head needs replacing, does it produce less vapor?

The thing is, I dropped my mod and when I picked it up, the vivi nova was tilted. The bottom piece with the thread that goes into the mod(not the piece that screws on to the tube) shifted. It was pretty hard to fix by hand so I used some pliers and ended up chipping the thread that goes into the mod so more air was coming in which produced less vapor. BUT when I covered the holes, it still did not produce much vapor. Now, I dont know if its the head or the thread of vivi nova.

Can I buy that bottom piece alone somewhere??

Yes when the wick is burnt, it will not wick well and result in less vapor. It will also taste burnt. Best to just get a new complete set as there are too many copies of vivis around that it may not match the pieces that you have.

Yeah, in my experience, it's either cooked juice or something to do with o2.
