I can't figure something out on the software (v6.1) and need a little help.

I enter my starting Nicotine strength
I enter my target strength
I enter the amount of ejuice I'm making

....when I add any % in any of the flavor, the VG/PG value goes to a negative number. The VG/PG number correlates to the ejuice ml I'm making. How do I remove VG/PG when it's already mixed in the nicotine base I'm starting with?

Thanks

To make 24mg from 48mg requires 50% nic and 50% PG/VG = 100%. 0% flavor.
Now add in the flavoring and that's 200%, hence the negative numbers.
Okay. For your flavoring. What you have to do is decide what % of your total quantity.
Most use 10% - 20% flavoring.
Say it's 20%. Using your figures above my calculator comes up with 60 drops of flavoring for 20%. Now Flav1 is 30drops (50%), Flav2 is 24drops (40%) and Flav3 is 6drops (10%)

Thanks,

Here's some numbers:

Nic ejuice 48mg
Target strength 24mg
Amount to make 15ml
Flavor 1 50%
Flavor 2 40%
Flavor 3 10%

Click Calc

Nic ejuice 7.5ml
PG/VG -7.5ml

...related question: What is PGA? For the life of me I can't figure out what that stands for.

For got to tell you what PGA is:
It's Pure Grain Alcohol. Like Everclear

Breakthru I really like your calculator. I have one complaint. Your rows are too wide and the whole thing just fits on the page if I physicall drag the whole page to the very tippy top and the "Calculate" button shows just a sliver on the bottom. Other than that, it is my favorite calculator...simple, easy to use. Thank you for it.

Thanks Sandyk, glad you like it. What resolution is your screen set to?. I will try to make it smaller in the update. Right now I'm working on a Ratio calculator to add into the eJuice Me Up software. Stay tuned.

Now I have a better idea of how it works. I have to break out my nicotine concentrate and consider it as a percent. Since I don't have any concentrate that doesn't have PG and VG already, I have to do the math on that before I can use the program.

Thanks

Depends on the concentrate. I have an RY4 concentrate by Wicked Vapor that states "Add 1 drop for 6-10ml of liquid". I like 3 drops for 5ml. In the calculator I use 1% for each drop for flavoring. (1% shows as 1 drop). Most flavoring is concentrated. Some a little stronger so experimenting is needed. If you never used a flavor before and are not sure, start with 10% and make a small batch. And adjust accordingly.
Totally wicked has a Black Label Flavour Concentrate which states to add 10-25%. I think it's weak so I add 25%. To me this is not a concentrate, it is false advertise as concentrate.
So Parallex2, it's not necessary to breakdown your concentrates and do the math.

On the combining juices part, can you make it accept 0mg for the second juice? If your adding a 20 ml bottle of 0 nic to a 15 ml bottle of 18 nic to get the new nic level. The only way I can get it work is to make the second value 1 mg, then it will calculate. Then I still have a little math to do. Or am I using it wrong? Great calc, thanks.

Dee, use 0.001 mg for your second nic level for Version 6.1.0.0
I have adjusted the new version to correct this. It will be released as soon as the PG/VG Ratio addition is completed.

I received two inquires about Flavoring with NO PG or VG.
Inquire #1 was BlueMist flavoring (no pg or vg)
Inquire #2 was Organic Flavoring

A New Version of eJuice Me Up with a NO PG/VG option for each of the 5 flavorings has just been released.
If you have a previous version, an upgrade will be performed with no loss to you're existing recipes.
