Ekowool wrapped in mesh or mesh wrapped with ekowool?

I should be getting my Ekowool soon from the world famous Mr Wicks (eccentric wick millionaire who married a model and collects Japanese samurai gear) soon. I've heard that the ekowool has a hole through it. Would it make sense to put a small piece of mesh in there? Or would it make sense to put a single layer of mesh around it? I may try this with my evod heads (space permitting) or my igo L.

I did manage to get the end of my SS wick into the ewokfur, but the silica wants to unravel badly.

That said, I whipped a coil around it and it "works" in my T+

Id say ekowool on the outside to make use of the cleaner flavor.

However, that may not work in the tiny space of an eVod head. I tried it and it unraveled after a few clean. Just go straight ekowool, or straight mesh. IGO-L offers you more liberty in what kind of wick to use.

I use Ekowool sleeved over SS mesh but in a genny only, this eliminates heatsinking issues. But in RDAs that I use Ekowool in I use only Ekowool by itself to keep the diameter down.
