I've owned a couple of mech mods, including a Precise Plus 18650 , which I still use sometimes. That said, I've only used protected Li-Ion batteries with standard 1.5 ohm cartos, or 18490 IMR batteries with a Kick/Kick 2 in it.

I have a new ELA V2 coming from Super T, and would like to run my Atlantis on it. So I'd be running a 0.5 ohm atty with an 18650. The 18650's I have are LG HE2, which I think are 20 amp max continuous discharge.

So if I did my math right, the 0.5 ohm load at full charge would draw only about 8.5 amps from the battery, well within it's limits, right? It should also give me around 20-35 watt range over the discharge of the battery?

So this should be safe setup?

Thanks.
