The coils you have should work just fine - until recently I only used 16 strength 50/50 mix and was happy with GS Air atties - so much so that I had a stock of 120 coils that I had built up ( and in fact we had a GS Air Fan group on here).

Using these coils with a clear menthol mix as above I reckoned on 6 weeks average per coil.

i am currently using 1.5ohm many thanks

The older stock GS-Air coils that some vendors have are 1.5ohm. The newer ones are now 1.6ohms, and the 0.1ohm difference isn't even noticeable to me. I use either of them in my tanks. So if you start not being able to find the 1.5ohm, you'll still be fine with the 1.6, IMO.

IIRC from a post by the OP in the DIY sub-forum...she's planning on vaping a tobacco DIY. She likely won't get anywhere near as long as you do from each coil. I don't either with my DIY.

I have friends who vape unflavored with menthol and/or Koolada though, and they get the mileage out of theirs that's similar to yours.

Going from 70/30 @ 9mg/ml to 50/50 @ 6mg/ml isn't a huge jump. So I would just try the Coils that you have and see How You Like them.

Are you using a Regulated Mod where you can Adjust the Wattage?

Sounds like a Plan lizmart.

I always thought it would be Cool if OEM's offered a Variety Pack that had 1 Coil Head of each of the Coils that fit a given Tank.

I found with the coils below 1.0 Ohm that they'd be fine for a few days and then would flood as if a dam had burst and that was using clear juices - as I have been sharply reminded ( though I had thought I expressed myself clearly) - you are using tobacco flavoured juices so I plain don't know.

When I was building up stocks of these I stuck to the then available 1.6 Ohm coils for that very reason.

Things may have changed now.

If it is still available, and I don't know if it is - you might want to search the GS Air Fan section on here - for how these were rated and used not too long ago.

I do use nicotine but to me the coil killers are certain flavours and sweetened juices. The short life with the lower Ohm coils with me was with clear menthol juices and equally the long life was with the same juices with the 1.6 ohm coils and 16 strength nicotine vaped at around 8-10 watts with both coils.

It might have been a temp QC problem with the lower Ohm coils at the time - I just don't know.

Thanks again,

The last few lots leaked with lower temps i will experiment with this new mix and see how i go,

My flavoring turned up today and ive mixed it up, i was reading about steeping i put the mixture in warm water then into a cool dark place, problem is i am nearly out of vape so it wont have long to steep.

If the above is referring to my post to you...it wasn't meant to be a "sharp" comment at all. If it came off that way to you, I'm sorry. I didn't know if the OP might expect her coils to last as long as with clear DIY. My niece, who vapes tobacco flavored DIY (that's somewhat dark after steeping) usually gets 6-8 days off a GS-Air coil in her iStick Basic set-up.

I'm actually envious that you and others can get as long as you do from a coil, running clear DIY through it.

Hi,

The ready mix vape i have been buying is slightly discolored, my new diy mix is clear at the moment i am unsure if it will stay this way,

I use this TECC Arc 5 kit - Vvapour: The Best Vapour Liquid, eLiquid, eCigs, Tanks, Mods, Vape Pens & Coils UK (Admin please remove if links are not allowed) i usually get about two weeks use out of one coil running it at around 13W your niece getting 6/8 days makes me feel better but my sister in law gets months from hers reason for my post but Falconeer as kindly summed it up.
