Katya, got the Lemo Drop up and running! 30 gauge, 5 wraps, 2mm inner diameter coil at 1.4 ohms. Air flow half open, wicking is perfect!! I think this time around, I'm going to love this thing! Have you got yours going yet?

Life is good!!! I've got CLS/GCD mix going in a Reo mini, NT's Altered State in a Lemo Drop on an istick 50W, NT's Frenilla in a GS 16S on an istick 20W and to round it all out, Atlanta in a GS Air on an istick 30W. I told ya'll I was an NT junkie! :D

I'm gonna get some of that Wadonka. I keep hearin about it everywhere. :)

Lynn, how is that tank for us MTL tootle puffers? I keep thinking about getting one, but worry about having the same bad experience I had with the Kanger subtank.

Linda, what is tootie puffer? I'm a mtl hitter myself. You build the coil to be whatever you want from sub ohm to 1.8. And you can set the airflow as tight as you want or as airy as you want.

Tootle (with an L) puffer.

This is what I use, makes life a lot easier for these old eyes.

I saw that in one of your pictures! It looks really nice. Maybe I'll ask for one for my birthday.

They have one of these, but a model from about 50 years ago: OptiVISOR

And better light. I go over there to help them out a lot anyways :)

MacTechVapr recommends this one--it's inexpensive and has a loupe built in. And an LED light.

Amazon.com: Carson Optical MagniLamp LED Lighted 2-in-1 Magnifier (GN-55): Sports & Outdoors

I think that's the one I'm going to buy.

Thoughts? :D

That's exactly what I was doing! :D And you're not going to believe this, but it's pretty close to the nice loose draw of a GS Air now. Now that I've got this nice rayon wick and the draw that I want, I'm falling in love with these old clearos all over again.

Speaking of which--I got some FT coil heads that Shadav recommended on the iStick thread--vertical coils and no fiberglass, I hope. ;) Haven't taken one apart yet, but it vapes very nicely. I'm using my old ProTank 2 with AFC valve--great tootle puffing experience. But not quite as nice as the GS Air or rebuilt Kanger head. But hassle free and dirt cheap:

I'm so happy for you! Good show! :toast:

I washed mine and tried it with the preinstalled coil--utter fail. It's a massive coil and that cotton is of questionable quality. I've been very busy in real world but I will make my own coil and wick it with my KGD cotton as soon as I get a quiet moment. Right now I'm back to my GS Air, Emow and ProTank. :D

Good grief, it took me a while to figure out what "MTL" meant...

I like the magnifying glass pointed out! But I really like all the light mine provides.
I think the cost is the deciding factor!

Agreed--the one I linked is an inexpensive version. Perfect for those who are still on the fence about rebuilding coils. And it can be used for other purposes--it's small and convenient, but far from professional quality.
