I also hate the industrial look of most mods.
I'm a blingy tootie puffer.
Thanks for all the great info. So far, the ones that are most interesting, in theory at least, are jade and wood. Don't like the feel of plastic, and get lots of condensation with steel. I don't care what they look like, so long as they feel good and fit well. Guess I need to work on my blingytude. But first I have to clean the barn, trim my moustache, and decide which book to finish reading.

Then you and I are weird together! I looked at some MM drip tips and they were $39.99. I thought dang, put $10 with that and I can have an atty AND a battery to power it. They're nice to look at but not so nice when dropped on concrete or ceramic tile or my grandson knocks the whole setup off the table. I'll take $2.99 please! Lol

They have a ss core so unlikely to break. None of my $3 tips make it through a single tank of juice. Others don't fit or sit crooked. I know people are OCD about gaps, for me I'm OCD about crooked tips. I got so frustrated.

Too many times I've cut off a Wendy's straw to make do after a tip breaks off. Ugh.

Aikanae1, I would love to be able to coordinate my drip tips with my juices or "bling" them such as but to me the most important thing is for vaping to keep me from smoking cigarettes. I'm not one that cares about aesthics. :) Sorry, but in the grand scheme of things it just ain't that important to me.

I want to make one out of a 50 cal bullet. Have a army buddy is supposed to be getting me a few rounds. Heck they cost almost $5@ just to pull the projectile out of! :)

I would like to see that project as it develops...are you talking the bullet or the casing?
If the bullet, how will you negate the lead inside the copper jacket?
Sounds very cool!

the Bullet, (you do realize a 50 cal case is longer than a iStick) :)
I actually have a small caliber replica bullet tip from somewhere but not crazy about it, I will try to pull it out this evening and snap a pic of it.

The lead is the issue, hence the request to military bud ;) Hoping for sumtin that has a HARD inerd! A tank killer so to speak. Yeah I don't wanna drill a hole through a lead core, then suck on it all day

I've seen tips made from bullets before. I don't remember who.

The tips are functional too. Everyone should try different materials and shapes to see what works best for them. I wasted to much in cheap tips that didn't last.

Yeah I have one, most sold tips a replica not real bullets because of the lead core. The smaller one I have is no lead involved, its just not big enough to really impress the ladies ;)

Certain things I shouldn't do, don't dry burn the coil like I did in the video, it will burn the gasket.
How many wraps of liner? one, two or will it make a difference?
Line up two of the external holes of the cap with the internal holes of the coil? will this aid wicking? So many things to try out...get started building and help me figure this out!

The only reason I rebuild them is I hate silica wicks and prefer Rayon...

Yes!.....................or Vapor no taste good:facepalm:

You say weird. I prefer the term "unique". :D

I've only used one wrap and it wicks good without flooding. I would try 2 but I don't think it will keep up. I still have trouble getting the cap on so hate to have to re-do one :)

Still waiting for someone to come up with the magic bullet for putting the cap back on, no problem for 2-3 and then one wants to fight me!
I keep it at one wrap, no drips. no fouls, and no errors..:)
I am convinced the "flooding" for the most part, is from the condensation moving down the air tube into the coil after sitting for extended periods.
