So can I. Going back into dim memories of the time I was a moderator for a very large vB forum... Some forums cache portions of their databases, such as siggy graphics, on servers around the world. This supposedly gives faster page load time for members far from the primary server location. That's all fine and dandy, except when one of the remote databases burps, hiccups, or cuts the cheese, as seems to be the case here.
