Cheech, I could have sworn that back when you did your first video, you said you were using a 14 gauge luer lock. So that's what I've been using ever since, and I like it. It makes a bigger coil, so I can stuff a lot of rayon into it.

As has become obvious...I am confused.
I have always used the pink, foosha, violet, purple needle for my coils once I found it worked best.
I went back and checked my video and it does state at 1:40 to use a 16 gauge needle...but if the 14 works for you, great!
I changed to 30 gauge kanthal as it was easier to hit 1.5 ohms for me.

I keep meaning to try Bikenstein's 1 ohm coil when i recoil, but I become a zombie and do coil after coil the same...

Yes, they work so well I've just never changed that. And I like 28 gauge better than 30. It just seems to wrap better for me, even though I need more wraps.

Which is why I love the 29 g--happy middle! The 30 is too thin for me, the 28 too thick for the Airs... Goldilocks syndrome, I know.
And at least 2mm coil I.D. 16 g needle is too thin, IMO; it's only 1.7mm. 14 g is much better--2.1mm.
ive been using the airs for a couple months now but thinking of getting a subtank mini anyone used both and can give comparisons? thanks
great flavor and vapor, but went through juice like crazy! also have to change out wicks more often. the size is a bit beastly for me but looked nice on an istick 30w.
I sold off my Subtank Minis to buy more M tanks... if that says anything..

GS Air beats it in my book...sub-ohm and rebuild did not impress me as much as the Airs.
