My weather is pretty much to be the same as Gran's - so you are all welcome here, too! Get on the bus and head up!!
I think we always want what we are not having at the moment. We've barely been able to enjoy the outside or sit on the deck in weeks. April was better than June has been - nothing but rain. Another few weeks and it will be the 4th of July, which is midpoint of summer for us. All downhill after that -
My brother has a fabulous place on the lake with all the water toys -- they haven't used any of them yet this year. SO depressing to have waited through all those snow storms and freezing temperatures for THIS to finally arrive. It can only get better, right!??

So, you all know that I'm a fan AND that I don't wrap or rewrap my own coils. I used to love my "M" and "MS" tanks, but I've had a lot of problems with them lately. I'm beginning to think that it might be the FT Eleaf coils. They were boxed in an Eleaf box and looked authentic, but I taste plastic on one tank, and the draw on the other is so stiff that I can't hit it. I've gone through 4 coils in the past week trying to rectify the problem to no avail. Any clues? Hints? Help!

Firstly, I'd be suspect of anything from FastTech. Just saying... Bad coil heads have been par for the course, unfortunately. Eleaf has new organic cotton heads available now. Do you have a new head NOT from FastTech to try? It sounds like coil head problems to me...

I wish I knew. I have about 10 coils. Five in celophane wrap and 5 in those little compartment packs. Does anyone know if the FT ones were shipped both ways or only in cellophane. They all look the same except for the wrapping. I feel like such a dufus. Ugh.

It has also been observed that the FT coils have a smaller air hole at the bottom of the coil...it always breaks my heart to hear when a new coil does not perform.

No insight, Pokemom - just sympathies and hope this is not repeated. Knock on wood, no problems here.

If I had to guess, I would think the heads in the blister pack are of higher quality than the others. Blister-packing is more costly packaging. This is purely a guess, however...

I've had no problems with coils, FT or sweet-vapes, only the packaging is different.
Have you bathed your tanks lately?

Bathing the tanks was the first thing I did. I didn't have problems for almost 2 months with the FT coils, that is why this is all so perplexing. Maybe they have just been part of bad batches.

If you've had no problems with the FT heads before this, I would guess you received a bad batch of heads. :(

The celo wraps are FT, the compartment hard packs are eleaf. As Cheech said, the
air hole of the FT coil is smaller. I've used about a dozen FT coils so far, with one having a machine oil odor, one lived less than 48 hrs ( just like the infant mortality eleaf coils that came installed in the GS Airs ) and the rest have been fine, with four in current use. I wouldn't hesitate to re-order these clones from FT.

Good afternoon everyone! :)
All of mine came from Sweet Vapes, I believe. They all had the same adult proof blister packing that I had to use scissors to open them and they've all been hit or miss for me so far. Over all so far, I think I bought around 7 packs. I'm down to almost 3 unopened packs and the 3 came from 'next door'.

Sorry for repeating as we discussed this before, does the smaller hole make much, if any, difference in draw?
Four flavors in rotation?

No, and yes.
For the less cryptic among us, that means the air flow difference is not noticeable, and I am rotating four flavors, to wit, strawberry shortcake, mango, homebrew black licorice/wintergreen, and turkish tobacco. Yeah, weird.

I luuuuurve Elvie-Emm's new avi, but her last one was purtier.

In case she needs one to match her sneakers...

The ancient Mesopotemians invented the grammar police, then died out.

I have 3 FT coils currently in rotation and can't tell any difference in performance from the ones I got at Sweet Vapes. In fact, my first FT coil lasted longer than any coil I've yet used - 5 weeks. I haven't had a bad one yet, but if I find the occasional one, I think they'll still be worth it at the price.
