Are you trying to get folks to join your Frisbiterian Church again?
Where when you die your soul goes up on the roof and you can't get it down...
This is true. I know there was a guy at work that tried to do that and he extremely failed and went back to his old good self! good point!

why not check health cabin for a new gs air base?

I had never heard of them. Thank you. I can actually buy a new base and another original GS Air shipped for about $10

Vietnam shipping. It can't be worse than USPS

I'm pretty broke right now and every dollar matters so much.

Thanks again

I'm pretty sure it's the GS Air but I'm going to get a bending adapter simply as a thread saver.

It appears the tank's threads are stripped a bit as it threads on to a 510 extension but is a little difficult to get it to start threading compared to a new GS Air M I purchased which threads right on to the extension and the iStick.

Burn, sorry, I haven't been following the thread for a while, so I'm just jumping in--FWIW.

I use a very simple and inexpensive airflow controller that works as a thread saver with my iStick 20--it's brilliant and you can also adjust your AF with it. It's simpler that the bender and less obvious on the iStick. I highly recommend getting one--Madvapes and LitecigUSA also carry it:

I bought this with my first istick 20w and its never been removed! no worrying about threads, and so inexpensive!

the only problem here - burn's tank threads are failing not the threads in the istick. and since the tank has to be filled from the bottom there is no way to avoid unscrewing which will lead to a complete thread failure sooner or later :(

As more mod manufacturers incorporate solid 510 connections (stainless), this will continue to be an issue with inexpensive tanks made of chrome-plated brass. Stainless steel will win over brass. Just be gentle with the threading and we should be fine. My 20W iStick's threads are still great after over seven months of use and my SS KFL+v2 practically lives on it...
