Yeah... I was spending about $165/Month on smokes when I Switched. And I told Myself even if I spend the Same on "Starter Kits", that I was better Off.

So I did. I bought A Lot of Starter Kits. KR808, Blu, DSE103, RN4081, etc..

But I never spent more than $165 per Month. Except for the Month that I Bought my 1st Provari.
Quantified like that, I'm wa-a-a-a-y ahead!
Compared to what I spent on cigs, it's a wonder I don't buy more stuff!:)

Hell of a learning curve over the years, not to mention the money spent on the newest "shiny"

You got that Right.

Blue Foam, Pyramid Tea Bags, Stainless Steel Scrubby Pads.

And don't even get me Started on the 2 Step Forward, 3 Steps Back that was the Entire CE2 Odyssey.

Well my GS Air and my GS MS arrived in the mail this morning, and I have them fired up and running, and loving playing with them to see what settings (power and air flows and more) work best, I am really impressed so far! The engineer in me of course had to design a test scheme for a comparison with my Nautilus Mini's which took me a long time to dial in what works best for me there. I vape for cigarette replacements (haven't had one in over 8 months), so my favorite liquids are natural tobacco extracts (NETs) which tend to gunk up coils in 2 or 3 days. I mixed up two of my favorite NETs to use for comparison testing, Pure Virginia, at 24 mg NIC and 70/30 PG/VG, and Sun Cured Turkish at 12 mg NIC and 60/40 PG/VG, for a combined 18 mg NIC, 65 PG/35VG ratio, mixed it up thoroughly in a plastic bottle with a very narrow tip (perfect for the GS MS small slots). This combination makes or a pretty smooth vape for me.

My first vapes off the GS Air with the included 1.5 ohm (dual coil, silica wick, right?) and I was amazed, and thought well right here is a Nautilus killer, lol. Such great flavor, even with the airy draw which I didn't used to like, but have lately been setting my naugties to a little more air flow. I played with the screw, for a tight draw, but decided I liked it better with the screw only slightly in (it does work by the way, screw it in real far, the draw is tight!). Someone here (sorry I forget the name) told me that he got used to the airy draw of the GS Air, and I can see why, its lovely the way it is!

Now here's where thing got interesting, I put the same NET juice in the GS MS after removing the 1.5 ohm new coil and putting in one of the 1.2 ohm new cotton coils, and in one of my Nautilus mini's which has a 1.8 ohm cotton coil. The GS MS also tasted great.... and then the Mini... well it tasted great too, lol. This was the first time I had mixed these two NETs thoroughly, and it makes for a smooth vape (but i vaped so much, I should have made it come out to 12 mg,haha.). The GS MS tends to "sizzle" more on the vape, and I have to play with the settings more to see what works best for it. This test has just started though, I am doing things like swapping tips (the longer tip on the GS air cools the vape more than the short one, etc), swapping batteries (I only have one istick 30W, another is on its way in the mail, and so I am also using my Aspire CF VV+ battery), and will see how the vaping goes as the juice is consumed. As the juice is used up, some backflow from the heated liquids turn the liquid darker making for harsher liquids, so I want to see how the GS Air's perform regarding this compared to the Nautilus Mini, coil life of the 1.5 ohm silica wick compared to the two cotton coils, different eliquids etc. I am such a nerd. lol.

But already I love these GS Airs, my goodness what a hidden gem, 8.95 for the GS Air, not much more than an EVOD which is not even close in flavor, and surprised at how good the build quality appears to be. I got them both for less than my Mini! So I thank you guys, for recommending I give them a try, its like Christmas in july for me, lol. :D

After I run these puppies through my full battery of tests over the next week, I will give you a full report GS Air vs GS MS Vs Nautilus Mini and I might even throw in a CE5+ "wickless" which used to be my fav before i learned how to dial in my Naut Mini. The Mini is hanging in there though, its a tank, the build quality is solid as a rock, never had a leak. If I had to pick one tonight, it would be the GS Air original 1.5 ohm coil... I think the taller pipe makes it all smoother, who knows.. but i will try a 1.2 ohm cotton coil in that too over the next few days. Let the battle begin :D

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
I can't knock the Nautilus, I don't own one, but there is a big enough fan base on this forum that it must be a good tank.
But the price of the tank and coils for the performance cannot be beat when it comes to the Air tanks (recoiling one does though)

Thanks for a great review, David! I'll be interested to hear what you think after you've vaped the Airs for awhile. But I think a lot of what you've said pretty much echoes my experience. I was totally blown away the first time I vaped an Air. And then when the M's came out, I was blown away all over again. I still can't believe that they aren't more popular than they are, especially at the price and because of the longer coil life than any other tank I've owned.

Incidentally, what you mentioned about airflow also happened to me. I was used to a tighter draw, but the more I've vaped these, the more I like the airflow. I now vape my 'M's all the way open.

Well you're one of the guys who convinced me to try the GS Air, and so far I like it better than my Mini, so thank you! In fact, I thought the Mini was only fair for flavor until I either got used to it (that happens I've read, you can get used to a different vape after a while). Tonight though I just want to vape the GS Air, lol!

Yes, I've had lots of lessons in humility about what "I like" in vaping, and now realize I am just relatively new to this and always learning. I'm glad I stumbled onto this thread though, I'm surprised that the GS Air isn't more well known, I have been all over this forum, and not even heard of it until I found you guys. I love it :)

Same here, Cheech! Everyone seems to be recommending subtanks to newbies these days and you can't get a word in edgewise. They don't even bother to find out how the person vapes, if they are MTL or lung hitters. They just assume everyone should have a subtank. And they just don't work well for a lot of us.
