That's exactly what I was wanting to know. Thanks!Jingles and I both bought the Cool Fire 4 recently. Well actually I have two of them now; purple and red. I actually like them better than my istick.
It's not hot in the building. Needless to say, I'll take the time to look at the coils more closely from now on. With this one, I just threw a wick in it, wrapped it, threw the cap back on and filled it up! Lol Slam bam thank you ma'am.Every afternoon when I walk to my car, my coil floods from the heat...crank up the istick and burn it off.![]()

That's one of the reasons I never bought the 30. All my other mods have a mean mode and that's what I learned to like, early on.Yes, I do have a Cool Fire IV. I do find myself using it more than the ISticks. Actually, I have been liking my IStick 20W's more than the 30W's the last few days. I like how hard the 20W's hit. The Cool Fire IV hits pretty hard too and real smoothly.
OMG, so pretty!!! I was *this* close to getting that purple CoolFire. I love that color!!!Here is a picture of my purple up against the istick 30w and the mini.

Here are the pics... some technical difficulties with my cheap phone camera are preventing a good breakdown video for the time being... working on it...Do you think you could post some pics? I saw your earlier pics of the new coil top removed. Still can't get it straight in my mind.

You can just barely make out the seam in the assembled coil head. In the other two pics you can see the flat cap and the shallow press fit lip in the housing. The cap literally just snaps in and out of place.

I slide the smaller end into the hole in the cap and turn it so that part of it is up against the bottom of the cap. Then I get a hold of the housing and pry the two pieces apart, using the allen wrench to create some torque and literally pry the cap off from the inside.i'm most interested to see where you apply the allen wrench![]()
Yeah... When I had the Cover off, I kinda scoped it out with a Magnifying Glass. All it appears to do is act as a Secondary Wick to feed the Primary Coil Wick.
I think I will Try the Coffee Filter paper 1st. And if that Doesn't work, I'll go with Gauze Pads.
I have been using Pyramid tea bags. that I had leftover from a much earlier use.. Works great..
