I predict we will have this whole eleaf/ISmoke/joyetech discussion allover again in about 6 months if not sooner! (I kept quiet last night out of ignorance on the facts, but I did read every post out of curiosity)

;)

iSmoka is owned by joyetech.

Joyetech (Changzhou) Electronics Co., Ltd. Trademarks :: Justia Trademarks

Before there was Eleaf iSmoka, there was Vapeonly iSmoka--I know because I got a clearomizer from them (Vapeonly iSmoka) in 2013... It was pretty awful.

I'm thinking of ordering an M and an MS. I don't have a TC mod at the moment. Which coils should I order? I'm a flavor chaser. Currently vaping a Lemo 2 at 1.1 ohms, running just 8.5 watts.

I use GS Air dual coils (1.5Ω) and I love them. The newer, vertical, single, cotton coils (1.2Ω) are also very popular here.

Absolutely, most emphatically, NO! :D
Depends on the juice. NET liquids tend to respond well to increased wattage. Some juices, not so much.

A better assessment is that different wattage levels produce different qualities in the juice flavor.

So increased wattage = increased flavor? ...

Sure... But Only to a Certain Point.

And since "Flavor" is entirely Subjective. Only you can say where this Point Lies for any given e-Liquid Flavor.

Not directed at you Jingles, but just a jumping off point.

I liked the discussion. Joyetech isn't a main concern to me or how they fit into the picture right now.!
What I want to know is if an public statement was issued from iSmoka where would they post it?
Would it be the eleafworld.com site and/or eleafus.com site and/or somewhere else?
The former, eleafworld.com, is likely. Eleafus.com is possible. Given the failure of both to acknowledge the existence of the M and MS, the credibility of either is suspect.

Depends on so many things--the coil build and ID, the atomizer, the airflow, the wire used (kanthal, nichrome, gauge), the wicking... Wattage is but a small part of that complicated equation.

While I prefer my tobacco and coffee flavors at slightly higher wattages than my delicate fruit flavors, others may disagree. It's all very subjective.

I've been meaning to ask this. The 1.5ohm Dual Coils use a Silica Wick. Right?

Has anyone tried Dry Burning these to Clean them when they get "Gunked" Up? Either with or without the Head Cover on?

Have you mistaken your commodious for your convenience?

We just call em commodes down here in Alabama :)
Urban Dictionary:
commode
A politer way to say ''toilet''.
I need to make sure the cat uses the commode.

Yes and yes.

Silica wicks and it's OK to dry burn them--gently--top off lest you overheat it. But it's a dual coil, which is more difficult to dry burn than a single one because you can't really see the bottom coil.

Doesn't really work that well with those two teeny coils. When gunked up, better to just rebuid them with a single horizontal coil and pack it with your wick of choice. Then, future gunking can be taken care of by removing the wick and rapidly pulsing to dry burn.

Damn, ok so who has the M or MS in stock? I can't stand it.

EDIT: I'll prolly have to spring for the 40TC at 25% off too. Rats
I like the new GS-Tank better than my MS (I use regular nonTC coils) it holds more yet about the same height jus wider, but want to buy an M or another GS air :)

That's kinda how I Imagined it would be. That's Katya.

I was wondering if others had tried more as an exercise in Curiosity.

I hear people ask which Heads to get? Some say get the Organic Cotton ones. Some say the Regular Ones. Some say there Isn't all that much Difference.

But if a Person has No Desire to Rebuild the Head, and if the Regular Ones perform Well and can be Dry Burned, perhaps they might be a Better Choice for someone who Isn't going to Rebuild? And wants to Extend the life of the Heads before they have to buy Replacements.

Something to keep in mind is that the dual 3.0 ohm coils will fail far more quickly than the single 1.2 ohm coil in the new heads. If one of those coils pops or changes resistance, the resistance of the whole head is out of whack.

I agree. Honestly, those coils are so nice that I don't even bother to rebuild them. They deliver great flavor and great performance, hassle-free. They can be easily cleaned and reused many times. And since I own a couple of RBAs that I like, I rebuild those--when I feel like rebuilding. My Airs (1.5Ω DC) and my Aerotanks are my favorite go-to, on-the-run, plug and play devices.

I was wondering if others had tried more as an exercise in Curiosity.
I did extensive attempts to dry burn Air dual coils prior to rebuilding with varied success...
If I dry burned and then flushed the coil with water down the chimney with a syringe, then dry burned again.
I would get almost acceptable results.
Upon removing the cap and examining the liner and coil, gave it up as a lost cause and figured out
how to rebuild...
Removal of the cap and liner may facilitate dry burning as an alternative, but going down that path I decided
rebuilding was the better choice. ;)
