I got a bad batch of the organic cotton 1.2 Eleaf GS coils from Sweet Vapes too. I have been using the 1.5 ones with no problem and ordered these just to try. I contacted Sweet Vapes and they wanted to know how I was priming the coils. I replied but have not heard back from them. It is so exasperating.

My GS tank is getting more action than anything I have right now. I didn't expect that to happen. I find myself waiting for the first 1.2 coil to go bad so I can tear into it. Gotta see if I can do anything with it. If not, my next order will include some 1.5s.

I misread the readout. It actually says atomizer low and it's reading .05 ohms.
I figured with the ohms that low, I might be able to use my 40W iStick in TC mode, but no go either.
That also happened when I described yesterday what happened to me with the no atomizer. All I did to get the two readings was loosen the base a little. Sometimes we can over tighten. So the coil I am still using also gave me the atomizer low .05 ohms.

That sounds like an awesome trip! I'd love to do that in an RV maybe. Not on a motorcycle though.
I tried taking my sportbike to Dallas 25 years ago. It was a 4 hour trip that ended up being 6.5 hours . Never again. Need the right kind of bike for that. I was good for the first hour after that I was pulling over every 30 minutes to rest my .....

Hope the guy is ok. I had a few friends die before my eyes over the years. I was an adrenaline junky back then and should be dead 100x over. I did end up crushing my foot under the engine and can barely move my toes now. Cracked my helmet almost in half and my leather jacket saved the rest of me, though the friction melted the lining which in turn burned me a little.

You'd need a touring bike for a trip like that. A friend of mine has a gold wing and I've told him it looks like he has a BarcaLounger on the back of it. It has a cup holder, place to plug and charge your phone, speakers you can plug ear phones into. It's just unreal.

Nah, I prefer a ride with 15+ cupholders, 6+ USB ports, 6+ plugs, DVD players, 10+ fishing rod holders, some TV's, a micro, coffemaker and some beds for me and wife to rest in.

But, oh yeah, riding a bike with a load potato sound is something special.
Hope the guy is okay.

Longest trip was on a 650 Triumph from Tampa to Chicago. Sleepin bag strapped to the bars and a duffel bag strapped to the -bar on the back with all my belongins. I had cut it down and put a Sportster tank and seat on it..square pullbacks....Looked like Bronson "ridin down that long lonesome highway". :)

When we hit a batch of bad coils it's disheartening, frustrating. Then we get back to good ones and the relief is joyful.

March through July, I used "authentic" coils from Sweet-Vapes and two other vendors.
Somewhere in there I added clone dual coils from ft. Once Dr. Cheech taught me to prime those, they were at least as good and trouble free as the ismoka/eleaf product.

And then it happened. Two full boxes of eleaf brand coils died, one after the other, in a day or less. IMRs's horror show moved from Pennsylvania to Maine. And then...like magic, it was back to good coils, plenty of flavor and vapor at <9 watts. The bad batch was used up. I was back to a happy mix of eleaf coils, some with knurls, some without, ft coils, a beautiful sample pack of CheechOmatic remanufactured coils that are superb, and finally, very recently, an experiment with the 1.2 ohm eleaf "organic" cotton single coils, that are almost as airy and flavorful as authentic Cheechako Arts and Crafts Model 8-15 Turbocharged, wind tunnel tested Superbas.

If you get a box of headache coils, don't despair. They will drive you crazy, but only for a little while.

I hit the asphalt about 60 mph after a front tire blow out. Cracked my helmet and still have some road rash scars but that's part of ridin I guess. I was lucky my bike was ok. It only skinned up the left grip, footpeg and left muffler a bit. T-boned a grocery getter once too.

Sportster back in the day. No wrecks other than my brother dropped it in the front yard. A few close calls that's about it. It was good for a long trip of about hour and a half before vibrations made ya numb all over. But boy did she look good all dark red and chromed. stylin' lol

I had a black 1974 Sportster. I never wrecked it either. But if you ride 365 days a year like I did, something's gonna happen sooner or later.
If I remember right mine was an 82, bought it used. I believe that was during the sad AMF ownership years..

1995 Kawasaki Ninja. Laid it down doing about 40 on a straight road that was glassed over with rain... I managed to find the ONE camoflauged 6 inch deep pothole on the road. One cracked helmet, one totally wasted denim riding jacket and pants, and six weeks recovery from a hyperflexed knee were what I got for my troubles... that, and a bike that ran better afterwards. Go figure.

AMF owned Harley from 69 til 81. In 81 Willie G. and some others bought it back for 80 mil. Yours was a true Harley. I have an 81 1320 first evo engine under the new Davidson ownership. :)
