Just wondering about your 40:15 ratio...

Do you have some CartoTanks that the 2-holes work best in and other CartoTanks where the slotted work best?

Or do some juices work "best" with either the 2-hole or slotted?

(Or...do you just like to replace your cartos in a ...2-hole, 2-hole, slotted...rotation?)

I can say with complete certainty that with some tanks, the slotteds are just the Kat's Pajamas. (No offense to me) (None taken)

For example, when I was first using kartos in the Billet Box, the feed was minimal. I spent a good 1/2 year not even liking the vape on it. Then the slots came into being and bam, really good feeding and excellent vape.

My vliquids remain at the same percentages, so I can't speak to that from experience, but from common sensicalness, higher VG is going to feed vastly differently that higher PG.

For a true Karto user, it's always a good idea to have varied sizes in feeding ports.

But then again.... this is a KLEARO thread. Sorry.

I just posted this in the reg Eleaf iStick thread: I was lookin at the new GS Air M and MS tanks. Looks like they are both 22mm, MS is shorter, both would have more juice capacity (reg GS is 2.5ml), and a new/improved air flow control! I think they look really good! What do you guys think? Inquiring minds want to know, or just me...

if they use the same replacement coils as the GS Air, I'll try one!

Rule of thumb: If your juices are thick (high VG), you want cartos with larger openings; if you run mostly high PG juices, go for the smaller holes. Thicker juices require larger openings and more airflow to wick properly.

I am most certainly interested!

The video looks like they use the same coils, and seems a bit under 22mm in diameter, to me.

As long as they stay with the same coils!
I really don't think these coils wick my 100% VG very well, but I was happy at the lower wattage anyway
as I can't vape PG for any length of time.
It's nice now to crank up the watts and let the vapor fly with the rebuilt coils!
I'll say it again, I have been happier with these Airs than I was with my Russian, Fogger and RDA.

Try adding a drop or two (per ml) of distilled water. It will improve wicking and vapor production without affecting the taste.

I think that's why I was a little driven to figure out how to rebuild these coils. the last dual coils I tried were the iclear line and it
was hit or miss on wether or not both coils fired new out of the box. I really liked these tanks from the get go and knew it would be difficult
to clean them for reuse and being a cheap guy...

It is the innokin duals out of the X.l i settled on, and love. I build them between .9 and 1.2 and use rayon. On the X.I itself I enlarged air holes and keep coming back to it even though I have one of just about every atty you can name. the X.l on top of and istick is a reliable, durable setup.

Personnelly I think it is a real sleeper in the innokin line you can find them for about $10 (iClear X.i) stainless and glass and tough as nails. Only 3ml however so keep a bottle in your pocket.:vapor:

Not a bad price, especially if you can rebuild them. I tip my hat to you for being able to rebuild dual coils!
I still cringe at catching my mustache in that knuckle on the iclear 30:(

hahaha on the mustache removal system! Yeah that swivel tip made the rounds through a few atties they offered before fading away. I like it, but I'm weird! :)

As far as rebuilding them it was scary as heII when I first started looking at them, but honestly they are not bad to build at all once you get the hang of it. And the addition of rayon real makes um zing!

I'm guessin the GS Air M will be approx. $15, just a little more than the reg. one. I see them at universalvap.com on pre-order for $7.00. They are in China and have super prices but you have to order at least 5. They also have the Melo for $12. Crazy! Probably a good site for co-opps.
