Many great discoveries and creations began with a similar statement, a couple of doctor bills too! "here hold my beer and watch this" ;)

BTDT! The last time I said that I wound up in the ER having 7 stitches sewn in right above my left eyebrow. Ouch!! Lol....Never again!

As they both use the same coils, what didn't you like about the egrip?

My taste buds demand different flavors almost every day. Having to open the bottom of the egrip, take out the coil head, empty the tank, wash it out then repeat the process to close it back up was a bit much for me. That's the reason I like separate and multiple tanks. Want something different today? Grab a tank, fill it up, screw it on an istick and out the door I go.

... but seriously, what do you think happened to the chimney? Factory defect? I love a good mystery.

Maybe a 2.0 version? These posts were back on page 123ish...

Those new listed specs on that site are for the taller 'M' one. It looks like the M-S is 22mm.
And it says 3.5ml for the M, but other sites list the M at 2.5ml, but probably both are 3.5ml?
But nice to see the first listing of some specs.
That site showed a picture of the coil, looks the same as the Air.
And the translated page appeared to infer the coils are the same. Would seem crazy to change them.

eta: and they show the coils as the same as the air!

Ahh, I see what your saying now.
I didn't quite understand one of your earlier posts on the subject.
Looks like a minor change that will still fit all the GS tanks.
(and oh, the knurled top!)

Thought that might be one of the problems when I was looking at them, I can't commit to one flavor all day.
Like having two tanks going with different flavors!

Well, I'm still on the coil that came with the GS Air. When I saw the photo of the coil without the chimney I busted out the two 5 packs of coils I got with it.

7 of them have the chimney, 3 don't.

As far as I can tell, the height of the washer is the same on both so although I'm confused on why they are different, and why it even needs the chimney, I don't know why it would cause issues.

Lynn and I are exactly the same on this. (Right, buddy???) I find it remarkable that I smoked for 40 years and only changed brands twice. And THAT was only because they stopped making them and I had no choice but to find another. Now, here I sit with somewhere between 3 and 7 different flavors in front of me at any given time. I've got about 10 tanks in the house now and 4 more GSAirs on the way. I have a failure to COMMIT! I like too many!

Must be the new ones they are coming out with.
Checked mine from two different stores and they are all the old ones.
I hope LVM's trouble with the one like that isn't an omen...

Me too! Every day I head to work with 2 Airs, 2 isticks.

Be prepared! It's a good motto.

I hadn't thought about it that way, if someone told you they carried 2-3 different brands of cigs around with them, you would have thought they were nuts!

I'm beside myself right now. I bought the GS Air only because I needed to find something that would work for me because they changed the Nautilus BVC coils and the new ones are causing some people flooding issues. Now THESE coils are changing and the first report is that there is an issue.

Yep Nanny!!! I got your back! And I did the same...I started with Marlboro Reds and ended with Marlboro Special Blend Lights. Switched to Basics during the 38 years I smoked and then the store I always bought them from quit carrying them and I went back to Marlboros.

I cud be wrong but me tinks the chimney is just to help with alignment. The sillycone gasket is what prevent any seepage by. :)

Checked my packages from Sweet Vapes and they were all with chimneys.

*aside* I still have 9 fresh coils? How did I do this? I think I need another tank or two :). I was supposed to get paid for my extra gig today, but now they changed payday to Easter:(, but I think he said they want to extend to May and I know they're good for it:D

I'm beginning to think I just didn't screw the base on my ohm meter tight enough the first time and that caused the different ohm reading. It's definitely been stable once I've started vaping on it. And WOW does it have good flavor! Much better than cotton!

I actually tried to put the liner in the cap but my fingers just couldn't get it maneuvered in there.

I was gonna suggest that might have happened. You had a screw loose or something....: )
