Better results this morning. Sorry no pics, coil is 6 wraps on a 2mm driver and cotton Cheech I used the liner you sent, 2 ply with 1 wrap. Found it easier to wrap by dripping some liquid on it and a tight wrap to slide the cap back on. So far 15w with 1.2 ohms no dry hits yet, cant report about rayon vs cotton yet still waiting on muds slow turtle to arrive lmao. Glad I have 5 backup mods I can turn to when things go bad lol.

Your determination is admirable. :)

In your nightmares
I just need more practice, I just started rebuilding so I have to get my mistakes out of the way. Once I have more success and get a good pattern on these coils I may never have to buy another pack of them. I have a total of 45 coils and 12 of these tanks, I also have 5 protank 2's and a bunch of coils I can rebuild :)

Like Cheech said, if I can do this anyone can!!!

Endeavor to persevere!
Congrats! Knew you could do it and practice makes perfect :D
You will end up with new coils sitting there unused as you are rebuilding and recycling...

That's a great idea about putting juice on the liner. Getting that wrapped and the cap back on straight was the hardest part of the whole build for me. But I've had experience rebuilding T3S coils, and this is pretty similar except for that part of it.

On a more serious note, got a quick question for those of you who have used Cheechako's rebuilding method. After vaping on my rebuilt coil for awhile, I started realizing that the draw is a lot tighter than the stock coils. I even took it off and put in a stock coil for awhile just to compare. I always leave my airflow wide open, so it shouldn't be that.

So I'm wondering if it has to do with the rebuild being single coil rather than dual coil. Or if it's about the amount of rayon I used. I did stuff it in there, but that seems to be what everyone who uses rayon advises. Or if it could be some other issue. Anyone notice the same with your rebuilds?

Thoughts, anyone?

Was wondering if someone who has the "non-chimney" coil would give it a test run to see if they have any issues with it. I tried one of Cheechako's suggestions and made sure I didn't have the coil screwed too tightly into the base. I turned it until I just felt resistance and then stopped. Still seems to be some gurgling, although I haven't seen any leaking... yet. I did blow through the air tube again also, just in case. I am getting a sinking feeling. :(

I did have this happen once and only once, air flow felt a little "clogged". I took the coil apart and couldn't see a difference
to account for this.
Maybe run a needle through the screw-in side of the coil to see if there is a blockage in the intake?
